Mason Cox is a deadset liability around the ground. Just stole a goal from an advantage thanks to hard work from his teammates, but **** the boy can’t move. Pray they keep him in for next week.

I wish I could like this twice.

Don’t give him a run at the footy and it’s like they’re playing a man down.

He can mark, that’s it. Can’t kick, can’t handpass, and most importantly he doesn’t have a footy brain.

After that last rushed behind in the GF, anyone with a footy brain would know that kick-in was only ever going to one place; straight up the guts.

Where was 7ft Mason Cox? On the half forward flank in his normal set up because he doesn’t have a footy brain.

What happened? Shuey takes an easy uncontested mark, winds down the clock and we go on to win.

Just saw someone on Facebook suggest that Fyfe has had a better career than Joel Selwood and almost choked on my Single Fin

Selwood is one of the most over hyped players of the modern era.
I think Fyfe has been the better player and it's not even close.

Selwood is one of the most over hyped players of the modern era.
I think Fyfe was been the better player and it's not even close.

Selwood has 3 premierships, 6 AA guernseys and 3 best and fairests. He’s been a captain since he was 24 and he would probably have a Brownlow if he didn’t have Ablett, Dangerfield and Bartel as team mates over the years. He’s one of the games most decorated players, no way in hell is he overrated.

He has a reputation for ducking, sure. But he’s one of the toughest players going around and he would walk straight into any midfield in the league.

If they lose here the pressure on them will be massive and could see them come over here breathing fire.

You are entitled to your opinion, however wrong it might be.
I think the All Australian selections may indicate how much his reputation overshadows his actual output.
He has never been in the top 10 players in the AFL in any single year IMO.
Fyfe has been the best player in any one year twice, at the very least.

The fact that he is a starter in all midfields is meaningless. Fyfe would be the no. 1 player in about 16 midfields.
