Is he one we were interested in? I'm sure there was some talk about him.

Also interested in US. Is however a loyal bloke but with his brothers needs and how close his family is i just can't see him staying in melbourne after the end of this contract.

To be honest i'd love to see a trade involving schofield and a swap of picks at the end of the year. Key back for Key back + either our third round pick or + our second for Adams + their third.

Genuine full back even if he is a little on the short side.

Adams is looking pretty good

Has been good with ball in hand in the first quarter. Contested work will improve with time.

Heavily contested game as expected. Rounds 4 and then 8, both at Subi, will be interesting encounters...will our "adjusted" game plan work?

Can't get too far ahead I suppose. Job to do this week and another interesting encounter next week v Dusty, George and co.

Sydney always play youngsters early. I wish we did more of the same.
It's easy to whinge about the advantages their academy gives them but they are also very good at finding and developing young players

Extremely well run club

Indeed they are Keys.
Their trading and medical people are top shelf.
Well run and sustained high achievers.

Dogs look better then last year. They pretty much are the benchmark. Skills best in the AFL.
If throwing the ball in a tackle and not getting pinged is a skill then yes they are

Think that they will become an umpires pet this season. Usually the side that wins the premiership gets a bit more of an advantage from the umps the year after.

That theory is proving pretty well spot on tonight.

Not bitter at all

Bitter as **** on the Bulldogs free kick discrepancy

23-12 at 3/4 time but guarantee it won't get a mention in the press let alone full blown articles about home ground advantage influencing umpires in Perth

Clear throw from dollhouse as he dives forward

Push in the back #freekickbulldogs

Not like the team they're playing doesn't get an armchair ride. If they don't win the premiership this year sure they'll be awarded a couple more academy picks who would otherwise be the top picks.

Umpires obviously ahead of the curve last year- didn't bother waiting for them to win before giving them a free ride
