GC have really made the Comp a lot worse. They should just scrap that basket case and expand the Comp elsewhere that will actually work.

GC had a lot go wrong for them though. Ablett, Swallow and JOM injured. JOM and Prestia leaving. Bennell turning into a basketcase.

As I recall it, it was Anderson and Demetriou who were pushing for North to move to the Gold Coast, yeah? I wonder what Gil's opinion of a merger would be. Gold Coast Kangaroos has a nice ring to it, keep North's jumper too. Sack both coaches and get a new one though.

Might go the same way as last night - young outfit initially outclassing a more experienced outfit through sheer effort and enthusiasm, and sure to drop off as the senior heads prevail. Hope it doesn't though, I actually would prefer North to beat the Cats here.
