Have you seen their young up and coming key position players !
There is umm ......... And that other guys ........... And that guy with the **** name who can't get on the park and .............. No one can even dislodge Dawson from the team FFS !

This.

If we hadn't drafted Darling, McInness, Lamb, Allen and Barress we wouls have 5 more midfield prospects to stack against theirs.

if you add Duggan & nelson to that list, ours doesn't stack up so badly. they would more than likely have played on the weekend had it not been for our injuries to our mids.

Barrass, cole, nelson, Duggan, partington, cole & mutimer. - A lot to like about our kids we've brought in. Just need to give them some time.
I was taling bout their midfield depth. Our key position depth is quite strong.

Yeah but i was only comparing midfield depth
As said by others much of our 1st choice depth is playing due to injuries.

We have Hutchings, Wellingham, Sheed, Jetta and Masten who are best 22 or fringe best 22 to come back.

With both Cole and Partington looking quality I'm not too worried.

When you consider we have KPP depth of Barrass, McInness and Brown we have a really balanced list.
I would concider duggan b22 even with a full squad. Nelson so far is also a small defender rather than a midfielder. I really like tucker and originally wanted him.

Yeah but our drafting and developing of key position players is pretty good and drafting of mids havent been that great over the years. It seems that only after simmo's arrival that we are landing a few quality mids.

Apart from Weller have Freo debuted any midfielders from the last 3 years? We have brought in Sheed and Duggan. Nelson more of a defender. The reason Freo have so many young mids is because none of them have made the team. Really a couple of them should already be in and a couple of the spud ones like Suban should have been moved on.

Blakley and langdon have and few other got games when they rested v port.

Why would anyone have tipped Collingwood?

I did because traditionally Sydney are slow starters and the Pies have a decent record against them, albeit usually at Homebush.

is it safe to say sydney are now a premiership contender again. They look scary considering both hannaberry and kennedy weren't their best tonight.

They finished top 4 last year and injuries at the back end of the season were a big part of why they were bundled out of the finals in straight sets. With a fully fit list they are dangerous bearing in mind they had a lot of young players tonight who are prone to dropping off as the season progresses

It's also round 1

So after coming out and saying Pav will likely be spared from the hard surface at Etihad Stadium this year, they fly him over and he'll probably play - they're scared about this one and so they should be. Bulldogs by 17.

god damn collingwood ****ed my multi. All they had to do was lose by less than 60 points....... I should have learnt my lesson in years past. Never trust collingwood, never trust richmond.

Heh the Collingwood tears are still flowing from last night. To be fair it was a shocker of a night. A 80 point loss that actually flattered them, critical injuries and a report.

Stuff of nightmares.

Must find some time to hit up the wobbles board for some lols today. What a shocking start for them. Swans looked slicker than the proverbial through the guts from what i saw last night

Had a gander this morning.

General consensus - Buckley must go.
