Just goes to show how much difference intensity and effort makes. Difference between us v Geelong and Carlton v Geelong, apart from the home ground advantage, is that their players are putting in much more effort than we did.

Maybe Geelong not putting in the same effort against Carlton that they did at home against us has something to do with it as well

Edit : agree with your point about intensity and effort though. At this level if you don't bring it you'll get done no matter who the opposition is

the thing is that with these up and coming young teams that as the season gets longer more than likely they will tire but good luck to them. Hopefully our best is yet to come and we are firing at the pointy end of the season

Carlton's not that young though, they just have a lot of triers.
