I'm not sure Voss can survive this.

They could very easily lose this by 100 points.

At what point does the cord need cutting?

Has to be Monday or Tuesday

Carlton list peaked around 2024 its best they completely start again.

They have plenty of assets that are still valuable (Walsh,Cripps,Curnow,McKay,Acres,TDK,Weitering) pick the players you want to rebuild with and trade the rest.
Blake Acres, the 30yo wing-flanker that probably isnt even in Carltons best team

The others there still have value and its possible they could turn it around in those players windows, Cripps possibly has 2-3 years high level footy left.

If De Koning does leave, and he will, they can't move on Mckay.
Pittonet and some guys with a few games between them isn't enough ruck options.

No first rounder this year either. Don't think they can pull it off, they just dont know about winning

Williams, McGovern, Saad, etc all -30 too. Saad in particular is barely a player anymore seems like he might just retire

Acres is okay he and Williams have been Carlton best tonight.

I would target Cripps i reckon he will be rejuvenated not having to carry that side every week and still has a few seasons left in him.

I would definitely let TDK go Saints are the big losers in that reported contract.

I know it's been a frustrating year for us but atleast we aren't Carlton
Praise The Lord GIF

They're still about, just hiding at the minute. They'll be all over him like sauce on ribs when he has his 2nd good game for the year in round 24.

Players we lost that would generally improve the side is Dawson/Cameron(miles better than McLean) lamenting their losses is fair enough.

Its just the weekly oh Parker/Hewett will be good right now rhetoric gets annoying to read.

The coach has got the bestb out of the list. He has done his job.
The list is the problem. Carlton have had how many first round picks. Where are all of the young players developing and emerging? Walsh. Who else?
They traded picks for established players like Jack Martin to get credibility. A fewb trades liken this can kill a clubs list.
1. It puts an established player ahead of a developing player
2. It denies the club of the draft pick to get a young player into the club
Carlton has very little developing players. Where are the plethora of draft picks developing on Carlton's list.

That is not the coachs fault.

Look at the board. They make these decisions.
Look at the Recruitment team. They drafted bugger all talent and traded in ceiling players.

You get what you get from poor management and poor recruitment.

That is not the coaches fault.

I don’t think they didn’t traded for Jack Martin, he ended up going through the pre season draft. It was a free hit and his salary although high was at a time when they had cap space.

They have brought in free agents like Hewitt who has been worth it. Williams kicked 3 last night.

List issues stems from poor drafting and development.

They have some decent key players but after that it’s a massive drop off.

I agree. They have a spine and some great players that add up to about eight.
Then it drops off to bugger all.

Whether it be Voss's fault or not, he'll take the fall - sooner rather than later I feel.
