I realise this my well end up with egg on the face but IMO GWS are way shorter in the betting than they should be ($1.06 for the win compared to Essendon's $8.50).

GWS clearly deserve to be favourites, but I've put my 50c on the Bombers.
And they better win,can't afford eggs.

Every 1% is worth about 15 points at the moment. We need to catch up roughly between 15-20 % to catch up to the rest of the 6-9 team range. Thats roughly 225-300 points of margin to catch up

Don’t stress about finals it makes the games easier just appreciate the small things in preparation for next year and a full pre season. GWS like them or not are more likely to do some damage

100% and thats why I want us to take advantage of the last 6 weeks and get something out of the season.

Don't just end it with the same team, its almost like an F1 team that doesn't do any upgrades in the back half of the season and puts development into the car for the next season.

So yes it is great to play for the club and not TANK but I don't think debuting 1-2 youngsters and getting them settled into the side will make a massive difference. But hey ho thats my opinion and others on here have rightfully have differing opinions

I’d have liked us to play one over Ladhams this week not fussed who, Rampe being back is fine though I’d have erred on side of caution.

However it’s annoying seeing other sides be more open to giving debuts, also annoying seeing McMahon do well tonight

Thats what I was alluding too in the game preview thread and got shut down for it.

We rely on players naturally regaining form whereas I think we need to be dropping them and getting other guys in, its creates competition. You see it in other sports like Football, if you have someone competing with you for a spot it lifts the levels for both players. If you have the dynamic of 1 senior and 1 junior player it creates complacency

I think he is more mentioning the debuts from Collingwood, Geelong, Brisbane, GWS this season and in the past when they are up the top of the ladder.

If Rampe isn't the difference between winning and losing against North, I see little reason not to debut Snell after his game and decent form in the VFL for the past month

We could have probably played both , though Hamling did well last week, but I wouldn’t mind Blakey up the ground for instance

Do Collingwood have to give debuts? Do Brisbane? Do well most other sides really. We seem to avoid giving experience like nothing especially this year. How long did it take us to play Buller? Papley is out for how long why are we playing a small forward down when we have one in the vfl.

Ditto and you can add Dattoli in too. I still don’t know why we are going one small down. Are you telling me Francis playing last week was a positive? You telling us Dattoli wouldn’t be better at worst the same and we’d keep the structure. Pies would have just brought in their next small forward that’s for sure

I'm not against some debuts and trying kids out, devils advocate for a second we have had some debuts in the last few years and we aren't ignoring anyone dominating the VFL.

I don't particularly care for Brisbane but happy to see them put the Dogs to the sword. As usual, the Dogs getting a little assistance but it gave me some pleasure that the first free of the game was against Bontompelli sliding into the legs. Far too little and far too late but ya takes what ya can get.
