Big question marks on Sheedy, ill admit to looking at assistant coaches recently as a worse case scenario but Hirdy is all heart, win or lose!
He puts up with this display 'cos he IS red n black.

By right, he shouldve given it away when he had his face smashed in, but as we ALL know, Hird is the cement in our crumbling brick wall right now.

totally agree. what have we got to gain bye signing sheedy up again. we have to make a decision now. either sign him up again or move him on and let o'donnell coach the rest of the season and give hime a chance to look at the list and work out who really deserves to stay at our club.

also john quinn must be responsible for all the hamstring injuries we have. he is the bloke who gives us our fitness regime and preperation and the amount of injuries we have is unexeptable. he has to be held responsible.

also jimmy hird should have the rest of the season off, go on a holiday do what ever and come back and have 1 more go next season. he deserves alot better than playing in this team at the moment.

What does calling for changes now do anyway . Sheedy is signed next year as it is. The fact reamins that any stupid knee jerk reactions wont change a thing. It wont get the form back for a few of our senior guys. It wont change the fact that Pev, Reynolds and Bolts are not up to it. It wont change the fact that Kep is really struggling and the fact that Welsh puts his team mates under pressure everytime he gets the ball.
All i hope is that all the suppoorters who have only enjoyed the good years show some sort of patience because you simply can not finish in the top half all the time.

He got great delivery from the midfield, Joel got no help.

When you talk about sacking Sheedy, please have a look on the ladder and realise that we are now paying for being successful and we aren't the only ones. Sydney aside, the last six Premierships are shared by the bottom four sides. Losing and losing like that isn't acceptable. But we are rebuilding, why not let the man who has a proven track record in rebuilding sides and probably one of the greatest of the last 20 years, do the job.

The only way to return to the top is to stick together. Falling apart at the seams won't help.

Must get tiring pumpimg up your own tyres all the time. Big deal. I didnt tip us to make the eight last year . This season i tipped between 10 to 13 wins which looks wrong now but at no time was i under any illusions that we where really going to struggle simply because our middle tier players are made up of Bolton, Heneman,Winderlich and co who simply havnt done enough.

Would have put McPhee on him. He did well on Richo last week. Anyone could see Fevola was going to be the player who broke our backs and he did with 3 in the second quarter.
Possibly Solomon was too slow but could have been tried. Might have been good for him to have just the task of stopping Fevola. He was useless anywhere else as it is.

Playing Reynolds on him was wrong due to the fact he has no confidence as it is. It will be lower now if that is possible. As i said ok to try but not for the whole game.

What was disappointing is that it just reaffrimed what a shyte team we have. Close losses have been to shytehouse teams and I suspect in the next 4 weeks our percentgae will get torPed down. No excuses, but I wouldn't be so sure about that. McVeigh hasn't been beaten this year. He could very well have shut down someone like Scotland or Stevens who really hurt us. Who knows what that is worth. The other thing Campo and McVeigh add is good foot skills, something we really lacked today.

We definately would have been a better side today if those two played.

Yeah you're exactly right.

Collingwood's change in form this year has been due to having a good pre-season rather than injured players coming back. In 2004 they had a period of a few weeks where they had their best team out there but still got caned.
