Can't see JLo playing.

Walker and Peake have only been in so so form in the WAFL, big question as too whether they deserve a call up.

Crowley should hold his spot.

What is this big hu har about Crowley and Dood being thugs, geez they are just like alot of players from other clubs, they niggle. Woopie, every team has them, no team is a bunch of angels.

Seriously why drop crowley? And not naming peake?

If freo do decide to play J-Lo and Hayes who are still apparently injured ahead of players like the Crowleys and Peakes then it just goes to show that CC really doesnt have a clue and that Freo have a serious lack of depth in their squad!

Broadbridge is midfield coach hence the fact Cook is so far down the pecking order, doesnt rate Cookie.

I dont think anyone doubts Cookies hardness in the middle. I believe he is dropped due to the 2-3 chances he had to kick goals from about 40-45 metres out and missed badly.

We can't afford a midfield player that doesnt seize goal scoring opportunites like that against West Coast.

I like Cookie in the side, but I'm backing the selection committee. I think they've gone for speed, skills and run.

Crowley omission is strange though..

Got it in one. Crowls has been a bit quiet the last two games , can't afford to do that with all ther blokes knocking the door down. I still reckon he will play though and they are doing a Heath Black to him.

If you believe the training report from Dockerland it looks like Crowley will not play as he left the ground early

Its not fair, I won't be back in time to go to our home derby:mad: Flippin galavanting around Europe gets in the way of everything else! ;)

crowley might still play depending on haselbys injury as for murphy why do we keep playing him inthe backline since he has been groomed sicne his childhood days to be a forward send elvis back if need be give us the run.

Last week in the WAFL Murphy toweled up Hansen, the week before he kicked eight goals. He's a versatile tall, which we are desperately going to need to cover the lack of JLo.
He can't ruck, but Johnson should run with him to try and cover him around the ground. One problem I see is he may become a bit of a liability in the middle, you don't have as much time to out-fake opponents in the heat of a centre bounce as you do mopping up in the backline.
I reckon some here underestimate the impact of Jimmy Walker's return. He has become more accustomed to playing in the middle and he will be desperate to get his old spot back. Agreed that if Judd has a game like he did last week they will be hard to stop, but that'll only happen if we don't hit 'em hard or pressure them.
I've gotta say unless it's injury Crowley would have to be more likely to play than not.

Are you joking.... Cook was shocking. There was 1 possesion where he made like 3 good tackles but other than that, rushed all his disposals, dropped a couple of marks and was so slow in stoppages allowing easy clearances for the Saints.

I agree he can't kick for s**t, but I think his influence on the side is priceless.
Last week was the hardest i've ever seen the team play. A lot more players were going in as if their lives depended on it, and co-incidentally we played much better football. We started going down again when we started up this possession game bulls**t. We can not beat the Eagles playing a possession game. Our skills are not good enough, and we're probably not going to get our hands on the ball enough times. We have to play hard in and under footy. That's what got us 6 goals up against St Kilda. And 3 of our best hard players aren't named? Talk about sending a message to the rest of the team to avoid going in hard....you might get injured, and what's worse, you're probably going to get dropped.

Although looking outside at the moment at the black clouds, i'd be stunned if Longmuir played and Crowley didn't.
