Ummm, it is supposed to be the shape of the map of Tasmania. And yes, the two heads are done on purpose. To poke fun at the ridiculous and out of date mainland jokes, that Tasmanians cop all the time.

I actually think the logo looks good, a lot better than most in the VFL.

Hey I am a Tasmanian and the only birth defect I have ever exhibited was a propensity to follow Collingwood!

I disagree with you though Bee. I reckon it wasn't a tongue in cheek thing, but a very clever way to incorporate two Devils into their logo. I agree that it is one of the best logos in football!

I get where Hoggy is coming from though and I think it is very funny!!!

Fig, I agree it is a very clever design, but I wouldn't be too sure that the two heads weren't done on purpose.
If you are a Tasmanian then you'd know of the way Tasmanians love to poke fun at their own expense and take the piss out of "mainlanders".
I would almost bet that when they designed the logo they knew exactly the reaction it would get.

Although the heads looks more like dragons than devils.

I don't mind pretending that I am offended at mainlanders' lame two-head jokes, for it is they who appear to be inbred, as a result of their unoriginality and lack of wit!

See if the two-head jokes are out for Tom Davidson when he nets his first bag of 100 goals in a season for the Magpies!!!

I travelled overseas with a fellow Taswegian and he had had a large piece of skin cancer removed from his shoulder.

Any Aussies that we ran into would inevitably come out with the old “show us your scar” line.

This guy would roll his eyes and then proceed to pull down the shoulder of his shirt and do just that!!

It was usually pretty quiet after that (apart from us cacking ourselves)
