So if you try to avoid contact with an opposition player and, for example, tear knee ligaments or break a leg, does the other guy have the same duty of care?
If the prosecuting lawyer was arguing that Viney should have jumped out of the way, why is Lynch not obligated to do the same?
None of it makes much sense to me. I'd imagine these guys get paid by the conviction.
