That's fine. But if you lose this week, which our erratic form might suggest is a possibility, would you be happy, disappointed or both? Stupid question, but if I was a Hawks supporter I'd be okay with it because the fact is North would have beaten all the top 4 sides, so that's no disgrace.

I'd be pissed off because losing to a team that lost to Brisbane definitely cost us top 2 and probably top 4.

I expect a much better effort from our boys this week, but without Wellsy and Narni I don't give us much chance.

I have watched the Hawks a bit this year and if anything I think they are a better side than they were last year. I suspect that they have made a pact with themselves to go back to back and when they had their recent injuries the senior players still there, lead by Hodge, just stepped up a gear or two.

Without Buddy, they have become less predictable, which seems to have made their forward line more potent. The loss of Rioli is offset by Wellsy being unavailable.

Sadly I think we will get beaten by 30 plus points (in the glass half empty mindset at the present :( )

Sorry to intrude but if you win this week which I believe is a distinct possibility would you be happy, disappointed or both? Stupid question but if I was a Kangas supporter I'd be more than disappointed because the fact you would have beaten all 4 of the top 8 teams(if you win) but have stunk it up against some very average sides means something is not right between the ears of the playing group.

I'm not in here to stir trouble and if I have offended anyone I'm sorry, but at the start of the year I had North pencilled in as a very good shot at top 4 and have been disappointed as they have screwed my footy tipping this year.
If I was disappointed after beating the top side and reigning premier I might as well give it away.

they're confident of an easy win, "they'll come in strong in the first quarter, but we'll nut them out, then we'll kick 5 quick ones and it's all over."

it's like they haven't seen us at all, we have three setting to go to, not even trying, can beat anyone and a three quarter effort.

You lost to Sydney, who lost to us, who lost to Brisbane. You lost to Port, who lost to us, who lost to Brisbane. You lost to Geelong who lost to Sydney, Port and Fremantle who lost to us, who lost to Brisbane.

In effect, you have lost to Brisbane heaps. :p

Who beat who and who loses to who is irrelevant really. We don't always go at 100%, if we do we can play okay, if we don't then we can pretty much lose to anyone.

The only factor is if we come out and play this week or not.

Good observations. Looking forward to a good contest but gee you guys have some players missing, resembles our injury list a month ago. A few good match ups and genuinely hope it's not a Hawks blow out which I suspect Clarko is planning for.

On the AFL site was mentioned that Wild Scotts is going to make at least 2 changes, no where near enough imo, this team needs major shake up even if it means throwing away a win this week which is likely anyway.
He'll probably bring in McMahon and Wright as well because they are both going sooooo well in the VFL.

the hawks dont play fast, Etihad is their least favorite venue. I like the ins, guys who have the experience against a side like this. Plenty of games to ring changes if this week doesnt go well

**** thats alright we have not lost at Etihad since rd 3 2010 ( 11 wins and a draw since) not bad for our least fav venue, or did you mean that because our fans don't turn up to etihad?

I was thinking more our recent games against you when 5 minutes of Cyril took the game away from us

They managed to keep all their venting in one autopsy thread instead of the many threads we had, kudos to them for self constraint
Give it time and more loses, their bandwagoners will fall off the trail.
