Both talented midfielders based in SA ready to take the competition by storm. Who do you think will be the better player?

Boak has more class, Dangerfield more grunt.... but also quite classy...
Boak for me, simply as his performances have been better

Dangerfield reminds me of a big cat. When he runs and tackles it looks like he's attacking his prey.

Both are pretty hard to split for mine. Boak is your classy onballer who almost never makes a wrong decision. Dangerfield is your strong in and under type who can turn a match on its head at any moment.

I think Danger gets my nod (probably biased) because of his superior overhead skills. He can switch forward and kick a bag. It stretches the opposition because he will probably draw the 3rd or 4th defender.

Difficult one danger has a lot of class but has been disappointing in the games ive seen him play this year. While boak has had a good season according to the stats but i have not seen him play except on saturday which he was dissapointing so i cant really comment.

So i will vote later.

I love how dumb arses vote for their team's player, in a poll where the respective team's posters have a specific category, in an attempt to make it look like more neutrals are voting for them.
Congratulations to the following dunces;

fryingpan
Mr Magoo
Blissid
CrimsonRaven

On current output I would prob have Boak in the team (although Danger is getting small bags of goals consistantly).

Danger has more potential though. Quick, strong, contested machine and a strong lead with great overhead marking ability. Just needs to learn how to find the ball more outside the packs and find some consistancy.

Dangerfield - his goalkicking ability, and extra pace and skills give him the nod ahead of Boak.

Depends. For consistency, you'd take Boak. For game-breaking ability, you'd take Dangerfield. Dangerfield is the type who can win you a game in a short burst, but he's also the type who can **** everything up by trying to do too much. Maybe he'll iron this out of his game with experience, and maybe he won't.

My finger slipped

You're a serial offender, you did the same thing in Davis v Trengove. Twat.

Right now you have to take Travis Boak. He has more runs on the board and simply contributes more. That said Patrick Dangerfield looks a rare talent and will probably explode in the next season or two.

Much of a muchness for mine.
