Incidentally, Pavlich was out very first AA player in 2002, as Full-Back. Also his 5th appearance. I just Wikipedia'ed the history of the AA squads and can you believe that it took 7 years for us to get a player in?!

Thats ridiculous. Why tease him? Its like saying "you could have made the team if you played jsut a little bit better"

No he got recognition that he had a very good year. Was never going to make the AA team though.

Well done Pavlich! Thats number 5 for him, such an amazing player.

While you're there, you should wikipedia the history of our playing list. Then you won't be quite so surprised.

they gave him full forward so that he could now lay claim to AA spots at FB, C, CHF, FF and one on the bench. reckon they should play him at CHB next year so he can complete his set :p

Yeah... he could complete "The Spine" set of AA call ups.
I wonder if anyone else has done this before?

I am a little surprised he didn't get some form of captaincy, McLeod has never captained Adelaide..... J Brown captains a side but it was his first AA?

Pavlich also captains a side and it's his 5th AA!

Yeah i would have had Pavlich, Brown or Johnson captain

Particularly as Brad Johnson was captain in 2006 and made the side again.

Well done to Pav 5 time All Australian and all in different Positions
