Pendlebury. He has been better than Murphy the last two seasons, albeit not by much in 2011, and has performed better than Murphy in finals. Both are A graders, both are elite and both should be champions of the game.

Lol don't you watch finals footy donk , marc murphy was named carlton's best finals player ......yeah good call that one
Didn't Murphy win the AFLCA award last year?Pendlebury. He has been better than Murphy the last two seasons, albeit not by much in 2011, and has performed better than Murphy in finals.
Murphy had an elite season in 2009 as well. Stiff to miss the AA side after he kicked 30 goals as a midfielder and made the AA squad.Wow, a very very close poll IMO, I would have Pendlebury but only just, probably because he has had 2 elite seasons where Murphy has probably only had 1, would love either of them
It really should. Proving yourself on the biggest stage of all adds to a player's stock. Pendlebury has this, Murphy is still unknown here.considering Murphy has never been eligible for the Norm it doesn't alter Pendles ranking all that much in my mind
2006 Murphy
2007 Pendlebury
2008 Pendlebury
2009 Murphy
2010 Pendlebury
2011 Murphy
In my opinion...
Can't split them really. Both clubs are very lucky to have them. They will be the two biggest midfield names in the AFL very, very soon.
2x AA, Norm Smith vs 1x AA, 1x AFLCA....considering Murphy has never been eligible for the Norm it doesn't alter Pendles ranking all that much in my mind, especially considering Murphy was fantastic in both of our finals last year as well.
Again, can't split them.
Pendlebury, Selwood, Murphy, in that order.
I've double checked the thread heading, the OP & the Poll & for the life of me I can't find any reference to Selwood, but FWIW, Selwood is the best of this trio & you can definitely throw a blanket over Murphy & Pendlebury.
