Seen a thread about which players are most improved so far this year, well what about what players are going backwards fast this year.

Im gunna put up Josh Hunt first, i thought he was awesome last year was allways consistent, it seems like he has done nothing this year and has been pretty ordinary.

Josh Hunt on the Slide..... I don't think so..... It's called a form slump..... David Neitz would be one

Ok i worded it wrong, but not just the old people like neitz and akermanis, but more the middle age range. Eg Tivendale last year for us went backwards but this year has regained some form, Jarred Brennan is another one that is going backwards rather than forwards.

There's plenty of bombers on the slide atm - the Johnsons', Solomon, Fletcher, Peverill

As well as a few swans - Leo Barry, Brett Kirk, O'Loughlin, O'Keefe.

Fletchers been fine for Essendon however the Johnsons arent doing a lot and Solomon and Peverill have been ordinary.

For the Hawks, I really dunno who to name at the moment, most guys are improving. Johnny Barker is almost gone.

How about you namesake. Got him in my dream team for some unknown reason. Is he ever going to get a stat?

BTW - Josn Hunt is not on the slide - he was never up there to fall. Very overrated player. Good kick, but costs games on a regular basis with stupidity and arrogance.

POTP

Nah, Neitz has been crap for a couple of years now.

Staff got about 11 possies and 3 goals vs Brisbane? What about Otto hes been on the slide for years, only averages 11 possesions a game, it seems pretty poor but i guess these days its compared to ruckman like Cox , Everitt and Simmonds who get around 20 possies to go with their hitouts

Fletchers been brilliant, Jason Johnson had an injury leading up to the season which cost him a few weeks, the others are down on form.

I feel sorry for John Barker, hes a real goer when hes on the field and gives 100%. If he hadn't been injured a few years ago when we played the Hawks in the 2001 preliminary final, I think they would have won, as he was in pretty good form that year.

Definately Neitz. He is no value to the Dees anymore and the only time he gets a kick is when they have the game won.I have considered him to be a front runner for a couple of years now.He started his slide when Swartze retired.

You idiot, the two weeks after schwarz retired he kicked 9 and 7, and won the coleman medal that year. Also, kicked 4 against Adelaide at Carrara, on Rutten, not a bad effort i dont think

not Neitz's fault that injury has plagued him. doesn't stop him from sliding but still, some people say it as if it is his fault.

Clint Bizzell unfortunately. Used to be our most important defender, the General. Then we said hello to Jared Rivers.
