Poor Western Australia

As you are well aware The two Western Australian teams are 16th and 14th. Thongs are not looking too good in WA at the moment. Freamantle are winless, and Westcoast have been thumped in its last three games to Richmond, Essendon and Port.Adelaide, all teams in the top 4.
Are these teams the two worst teams in the league?

Three factors make me believe that the Eagles may be 15th

1) Bad management
2) injuries
3) In reality we wont make finals so lets blood the youngsters.


Most teams rely on half a dozen key players. Essendon has 22 collingwood has three. Port has more than I ever imagined. Eagles has a few but they are mostly injured or injury prone and can't be relied upon.

Eagles can only now use 2001 as a building year.
Same as Freo and Roos.

There should be another side in QLD........so it can run last.

Not a joke is that there is big dollars that a QLD identity will be involved more in the ROOs. Whether that leads to relocation who knows?

NOT !!!! - I think it is fantastic Wet Toast are down down down ( sorry don't like them ....)
However they will have some stiff competition soon for worst team from the Swans - I reckon Freo will beat them in Round 9 !

Sabre - Freo could have all those 3 players (Chick, Hay, Gaspar) if there were zoning for Fremantle to take players alligned to East and South Freo. I guess my point is that I'm sick of good QUALITY WA footy players being poached, or maybe overlooked by our own recruiting staff.

As for Harding & Carroll... geeze I'm wishing the Eagles had kept Bellotti from last year compared to these guys

RichmondFan1, I hardly ever reply on these boards, but you really intrigue me. You seem to absoloutely hate living in WA. Can I ask you why? Is it because your football team is in Melbourne or what.

Western Australia is a great state to live in. It has a great lifestyle (much more relaxed than the other states), great weather, and is relatively cheaper to live in than other states. Try buying a four bedroom house in MELB or SYD for less than $300.000.

Now i have personally lived in both Victoria and Western Australia, so I know what im talking about, unlike most victorians on here that bag the state without having lived here. Sure Victoria might be the so called "Sporting state", but in my opinion that is very overrated. We like our footy teams here just as much as victorians do.

Sure Victoria has some advantages such as better shops, restaurants, but it also has many disadvantages. For instance the weather in Melbourne in winter is shocking, here in WA it is very mild. Wa has some of the best beaches in the world, especially around Perth.

All im saying is that you seem to have no logical reason for hating the state you currently live in. It compares very favourably if not better than the other states, though of course I have a bias.

Anyway thats my opinion, i'd like to see your response

The most optimistic way to view it is that the WA teams are the strongest in the comp, we are holding up the rest of the ladder.
