We need skills, pace and compsure on our HBF I would take him no doubt. It's a definite upgrade on Logan. A fit Surjan, Pittard and Young are three nice smalls to have.

If our comp is end of first late second I can live with that deal being done, as we would like get a spud with that pick, he also allows our younger players a bit more time to develop.

Read the last couple pages of thread on collingwood board. Suggests $350k for 3 years is collingwoods offer, but ignoring the money for a sec i cant see him leaving Melbourne for reasons closer to home.

Can't see him picking us over Collingwood. Would take him though (assuming it wouldn't cost us pick 8). He's a hard runner and a long, direct kicker, which are both things our midfield is crying out for.

He's not a bad player but has just a little bit of the Lonies about him. As a FA get, I would think that he would eliminate the Chaplin pick - most likely band 3 - after our second round. I suppose that is around his market worth.

Young is a soft, outside and one-sided player. His recruitment would typify everything that was wrong with Choco's mid 2000's recruiting strategy. Even being linked to Young shows a serious inability to learn from past mistakes
