just saw the mrp comedy piece, what a joke
merret should have got 4 or 5 weeks, what a dodgy system.
may should never have been looked at what a joke
taylor adams, dom tyson that happens 1000 times a game, both should be free to play
matt thomas, so the sling tackle is now legal, what a joke.
matera was very unlucky the bloke was pushed from behind and his head effectively 'ducked' into matera, should have got off.
looks like shuey deserves a couple of weeks though, handy he misses the port match.

Nigel Notso is one of Christies' alumni and that would have been his graduating year.
We could be onto something here.

I'm actually becoming a bit worried about Adelaide leaving us behind in their wake with their marketing strategies.
Not only have we had to deal with a banner on the Intercontinental, and a massive 61'st man being paraded around Adelaide Crowval prior to the Sydney game as part of a match day experience that made our efforts the week before look pedestrian, but this morning I opened the paper to hear that Adelaide is leading the charge on Good Friday night football:

“It is inevitable football will be played on Good Friday,” Chapman told The Advertiser.
“And we’re keen to be in that discussion with the AFL. It needs to be on our agenda.”
.....
“We want to be on the front foot (with Good Friday),” Chapman said. “And there is a bit of work to be done on this one.”

As KG used to say ... strike me pink, they have got one over us again. (If you ignore the fact club shave been chasing Good Friday football for a decade).

No wonder Triggy, Nigel-Notso, and uncle Rob are so highly revered by their brethren and supporters.

no doubt the hierarchy would cap it off with a satirical parody pre game on the big screen of Jesus Christ Superstar featuring Graham Cornes as Jesus, Stephen Rowe as Mary Magdalene and Patrick Dangerfields cat as the donkey.

Just to clarify - these quotes were taken from todays paper, I double checked the date and it didn't say April 2011

Looks like it. They really are ******* clueless at West Lakes. I mean, that is quite possibly the shittest room I've ever seen.
It's black, their raven is blue.

It looks like the stage design for Christies Beach High School's Rock & Roll Eisteddfod performance.

It's actually a seagull, and the picture and performance symbolise the great Port Stanvac oil spill of 1981.....represented in painting and dance.

As funny as it is seeing Carlton & Adelaide cemented at the bottom of the ladder they'd be pretty smart to stay thereabouts this year given they won't be contending for the 8.

The way it stands they're both in the box seat to get the pick of the gun crop of KPF's in the draft & possibly another in the second round, would do wonders for their list.

Is that when the Year 12 (Year 10 repeated twice) project was a successful B&E at Colonnades?

This is why I hope the Crows start to get a few wins..is a tough trade off. Love seeing them lose, comedy gold, but don't want them getting a high draft pick. Finishing around 10th is ideal.

Let them. They'll just Sellar it up anyway.

totally agree with you here. however carlton would be in the box seat better than adelaide even if they finish higher on the ladder. It seems reading between the lines carlton have already put the pool cue in the rack, where as adelaide seem to be wanting to fight there way out of this, each to there own. However the factor not taken into account is Gibbs, if they lose gibbs and say they finish bottom 4 they will have 2 picks possibly in the top 5. If this was next year adelaide might be in the box seat but can see them wanting to do everything as you would to keep danger and sloan. A possible rebuild for adelaide is 1 year too early.

whilst id love to go to a good friday game cant see how adelaide would be in box seat for a good friday game. norf would kick up a massive fuss about it they have been campaining for years for the game. like ANZAC day game i can only see 1 game played this day for a few years before opening it up to other teams

Doesn't matter. Whoever they pick will want to leave after 2 years anyway.

I love that the crows PR lady Georgia Aish hasn't held down a job for more than a few months, and has literally zero experience in PR. She has only just finished a degree in public relations, fresh off the Uni wagon.

They literally have a work experience chick who has no idea what to do with her life as their PR manager :D and boy does it show.

But, but... the surname!
