Out of all the crows senior coaches Neil Craig is by far the biggest twat out of all of them, yes a bigger twat than Cornesy.

I couldn't stand him and i was always bewildered by how much their fans liked him during his tenure. He took them top in the minor rounds of 2005 and 2006 with a list that was already well established and then fluffed up both those finals campaigns in the same fashion we fluffed 2002 and 2003 but Crows choking or Craigs inability to coach in finals pressure situations barely rates a mention next to our/choco's so called choking of 2002-2003. Crows were perennial bridesmaids under Craig with a list that was good enough and continued to balls up subsequent finals campaigns with a couple classic losing the unloseable finals, at least choco got the job done eventually. Craigs finals record was about as unflattering as it gets. On top of all that he was just an A grade douche so i have no idea why the bulldogs are even considering him.

Craig and to an extent Chocko coached a brand of football, that ensured you made the finals but was not conducive to winning the ultimate. I am far too wise to suggest that Port were lucky to win in 2004, however at least Chocko was wise enough to realise he needed Hardwicks and co to crack our mob - who were ripe for the plundering due to a number of reasons.

The thing that you should hold near and dear to your hearts as you begin 2015 is that the way your incumbent coaches is for all days, all conditions but ultimately you know it stands up under finals pressure. But for a dodgy holding the ball decision, you may have already added to that 2004 cup. I think you might in 2015.

Who has missed those Craigy pressers? "speed of ball movement" "the backline leadership group is connected to midfield leadership group & the midfield leadership group is connected to the forwardline leadership group"............. me me me

I don't mind Craig, I think he is astute and difficult to dislike, but also difficult to like. Basically the essential requirements of a bulldogs coach.

I don't see what the attraction for Eade as coach is. He turned "flooding" into an art form at the Swans. It didn't win him a premiership and arguably never would have. The game is better without that kind of innovation. Him, Wallace and Judge were a blight on the game.

It's crazy that the Bulldogs board are for Craig as coach.

In another news lol:

You forget his time at the Cats before that. Contrast the way he went about things (including ending the careers of your Coach, Bairstow and others) with the way Ken has prolonged careers or ensured warriors like Cassisi went out with dignity.

It's not staggering at all to me that Ayres didn't get another shot, he may have improved, but he might not have improved as much as was required.

Hinkley had it as a coach from day one, let me assure you. He coaches largely the same way as he did the now defunct Mortlake Footy Club in 1996-1998. That's what is truly great about his coaching. He believes 100% in what he's doing, no mind games, no bullshit, no cutting corners.

The Geelong team he had taken over had just been blown out by 80 points in a GF against a West Coast side that looked like an all-conquering dynasty.

Maybe he felt he was freshening up the side by rooting out elements that were contributing to such high profile failures (their third in six seasons). Ironically he obviously took them just as far the very next season before falling to the all-conquering Carlton team of '95.

I often wonder whether we'd have gone a ways to avoiding the shitstorm that was 05-12 if Williams had cleared the decks and not kept topping up with chaff.

An Eade-coached team that actually has genuine KPF scoring power isn't something I'm looking forward to.
I wasn't looking forward to the Suns list in 2015 under McKenna, let alone a guy (ziiiing) with Eade's experience.
