Port Adelaide eager to inspect Football Park’s suitability for hot derby after One Direction concert
PORT Adelaide will inspect Football Park on Monday as questions linger on the ground’s suitability for the AFL pre-season ending Showdown with the Crows next Saturday.
And if doubts linger on the state of the southern end of the West Lakes venue — after the turf was flattened by the stage for the One Direction concert on February 17 — the Power could make a push to move the game to Alberton Oval.

Hope it is moved to Alberton .. more dollars for the Club
Please make it happen!!!

When they get momentum they will be hard to stop like always. Especially when the Muppet crowd gets behind them.

However they need more purpose than just "kick long to the Texan"

Champion teams rip momentum from poor teams sweaty, ham fisted grip.

We'll destroy them.

Look for the Crows to place goalposts inside the goalposts that are inside the regular goalposts at training this week:p

Interesting to NOTE - AFL get ALL gate takings - SNAFL only get food and Bev from this game :D

SANFL seem to have a deep seated obsession with catering, **** them up the ass.

That was such a bizarre article in hindsight, had we already lost our first two picks?
No we hadn't. I'm so pleased he was gone before our first pick anyway.

You add Dangerfield to the midfield with him the Cats are still a top 4 side.

Does anyone find it stupid that a club built an expensive training base then needs to train inside a rented shed?

So does anyone know someone who strictly follows the SANFL and not the AFL, who is below the age of 30, who isn't an enormous ****ing douche? I swear to God its a prerequisite.

You could drop either of your last two conditions there and your point still holds. Nobody below the age of 30 cares about the SANFL (bar players and families) and they are all enormous ****ing douches.

The platitudes for Mitch Messiah Clarke coming out of the Melbourne media are seriously cringe-worthy. The news on SEN just called him a "boom" recruit.

The flapping heads on AA tomorrow morning are going to be falling over themselves to be first to claim they knew it all along.

Free Agency is one thing, but it's pretty ****ed that a talented footballer was able to move from a weak club to a strong club so easily without even using it.

Melbourne dig their own grave more often than not, but I feel for them a bit here. If Clark plays anywhere near his potential for the Cats, Melbourne have been absolutely robbed.

It's not like Mitch planned his stint out of the game with depression.

Of course not - but Melbourne gave up Pick 12 for him, gave him a huge contract and supported him through his depression...

...and what do they get in return? To watch him choose to go to a more successful club and them reap the benefits without having to give up anything.

Edit: Shouldn't say having to give up anything.. they gave up Travis Varcoe. Sheesh.

Shit happens.

He could've seen his contract out doing nothing at the Dees.
