I've noticed the score update on our FB page is using the Crows fauxback heritage round logo from years ago. Have they actually adopted it as the reserves logo or is our media dept just having a giggle?

So behind me at the cricket on Friday a couple of lobotomised crows supporters were debating the finer facts of their team.

Every single topic of discussion about their team ended in talking about how Port were doing it better, or why can't we do it that way etc. towards the end they were debating who their hardest player would be, "an Ollie Wines or Mark Bickley type hardnut" to be exact.... They were really struggling and eventually decided that Clangerfield was their toughest player and would probably have to be a bit of an enforcer this year.

*up to this point I'd been restrained from passing judgement by my better half*

But the Bickley comment was too much, I turned around laughing and gave them a a spray about how much of a joke Bickley is, how he was a cheap and dirty player and is probably the least deserving HOF inductee to date.

They didn't come back to their seats after the change of innings.

Man I can't wait for footy season, it was so good to be back at the Portress!

Bickley and tough should never be in the same sentence. He toughness is comparable to his coaching ability.

Bickley wasn't untough, but it's like the 80s nostalgia people have where "footy was so much tougher in those days".

Dropping the knee into your opponent at the bottom of every pack doesn't make you tough. Michael Wilson was tough. Mark Bickley was a thug whose toughness, while not lacking, was not notable.
