[Concussion]

People sometimes point to Riewoldt not performing well in big games, but that's a load of rubbish IMO. He played a very good game in the drawn GF, but Collingwood mauled them in the midfield in the replay. In 2009 conditions were such that no key forward was going to have a big impact on the game stats wise. He's won them plenty of finals over the stretch as well.

Pavlich seems to be respected more of the two for some reason, I think somebody hit the nail on the head earlier though with this in that it's a lot easier to appreciate a player when you aren't fearful they're going to ruin your sides shot at a flag.

Sucking is probably the most interesting on that list for mine. Would be a good get but probably not a big need with guys like Broadbent, Hartlett, Pittard and Krakouer on the list now?

In 26 games at Sydney he's kicked 69 goals. That's as prolific as anyone these days.

Durability is a question mark, more so than performance.

I would take a Jay Schulz on half the pay over a K Tippet every time.

Probably not enough to warrant spending the extra cash to get him.

Most likely, but seeing as the side has been rebuilt around the backline I'm not sure if it's worth messing with out current KPDs. If the club think he's a good fit you might be able to put him at CHB and throw Trengove forward.

I'd rather save the coin to help retain our current list.

He's a gun defender, but after the hissyfit he threw last year trying to injure our players I wouldn't take the campaigner for free.

I just realised that with how bad Kangaroos play against lower placed sides its probably better they don't play too many good sides. Whoever meets Kangaroos in finals as a top 4 team will be very lucky. This is their record since 2000..


2000: 125pt loss to Essendon.
2000: 10pt win vs the 8th placed Hawks.
2000: 50pt loss vs Melbourne.
2002: 38pt loss to Melbourne
2005: 87pt loss to Port.
2007: 106pt loss to Geelong.

I did think there was stats that backed that up. I remember reading a bit last year before the gf, thinking swans would be like our 2007 but didn't notice it happened to several other teams. Thanks!

PORT Adelaide captain Travis Boak is endorsing free agency fall from eight to six years, despite his forfeiting the lure of returning to his home in Victoria.

And Boak says great clubs — with strong culture — need not fear free agency.

The funny thing is that North normally go alright against the good teams but are normally good for a 'shock loss' every half a dozen or so weeks to some mid table trash team.
