No I am deadly serious, we lost a few close games throughout the season - IF we won them, we could be anywhere.

IF we got up against West Coast, the season was on. Tonight, I still thought we were a chance to somehow bring it home in the last half of the season.

Before tonight we were 2-9. Its gonna take 12 wins to make the 8 this year - so your saying that before tonight you seriously thought we were capable of winning 10 out of 11? What that you have seen in the past 12 weeks could have possibly given you that thought? Has anyone ever turned it around like that in any sport, ever?

So if we get the #1 pick this year then what? Have another **** year and go for it again? And again and again? When will it end? Only if we can get confidence and win some games.

This sort of mentality will destroy the club and the players self confidence. You're not going to win premierships over a few picks who *MAY* turn out superstars. Hope is a good thing, just don't rely on it heavily to want to lose games.

We're not going to be attracting too many sponsers and members if we tank all the time. If we finish bottom fair enough, but I'd never hope to play like **** and lose. Keep on working with what we have, and keep on adding bit after bit. We need a winning mentality.

Frankly, anyone who condones tanking, I will give them a spray. **** that attitude, seriously. And shame on you for those who use it - I want my team to win every game they can, not hope they lose in order to fortify a hope. The players certainly wouldn't think that way, if they did, it would self-destruct them and the club.

How do you know they will be mediocre? Because they're not #1 - #10? Pfft.

Yeah it's wonderful. But the draft benefits losers, thats democracy, and you have to beleive in the system. Though a good coaching panel would help.

I've had enough losing over the past 4/5 years, I'd much rather Carlton win and give our young players confidence than hope to lose. We're still going to get decent picks wether we finish 16th or 12th, but I'd much rather finish 12th. Couldn't bear another spoon.

I wanted us to lose and give the younsters some game time. They showed what they can do and we lost so i wasn't dissapointed. We need to down near the bottome this year. Expect to see us climbing the ladder next year and hopefully be playing finals in 2008.

The number three draft pick came within one kick of a flag and we all know where he should have gone that year.

I want to win games, but I'm enjoying us playing more competitive footy in the past 2 weeks with Fevola and the kids standing up each weekk. As long as we don't finish last again I'll be happy if we can add another three guns in the draft and the kids keep improving each week.

I said four wins no more, no less at the start of the season because I still can't see where there are another 3 wins in the remaining games. Possibly Brisbane and Fremantle as well the Essendon game which is probably the only game where we're a better than even money chance of winning.

This week could be a good game for Chemical, ODN and Funkalicious to attend.
