News on 7 this morning - Power player allegedly crashes car into 4 others at Norwood last night and fled the scene avoiding police and any alcohol or drug tests.

Disgraceful if true and player should be suspended (if not sacked) by the club.

A Port Adelaide football player has reportedly been involved in a car accident overnight after crashing into four parked cars before fleeing the scene. Police said the car ran into a ute, which subsequently hit the Toyota sedan in front of it, before continuing down George Street and crashing in an Audi, which was pushed into a BMW. The athlete is of interest as the incident occurred near the house of another player, 7 News reported. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived, and is being described as approximately 180cms tall with tanned skin and short dark hair.

I can only think of one reason for an AFL player to flee the scene of a crash.

Should be handed a lengthy suspension at the very least.

If it is Jars he needs to get his arse kicked big time. He has enough to deal with without bringing s**t like this on himself.

Edit - just saw some of the cars involved and the damage isn't too bad. Thankfully no one was hurt.

I still hope he gets punished, maybe a decent fine and/or donation to victims of car accidents and a couple of preseason games. The embarrassment, guilt and dealing with the cops is a punishment in itself.
