Berry didn't play or are you referring to the Port game?Watching the replay and one of the main takeaways is that without injuries to this side, Sam Berry is screwed.
I know he didn't play. The point is I can't see him getting a game in that midfield. Peatling is a better player and Draper is coming through as well.Berry didn't play or are you referring to the Port game?
But i agree he is back in the queue, but we may need him for depth as the season goes on.

Probably doesn't take much for him to do so TBHI know he didn't play. The point is I can't see him getting a game in that midfield.
Not in our full strength side... but we are likely to get injuries & will need to manage players.I know he didn't play. The point is I can't see him getting a game in that midfield.
Keays wasn't horrendous. He just got less of the ball despite his running, because we have a very good forward line who managed to mark and kick goals without handballing to him. As I said elsewhere, this is a function of the new forward structure including ANB and four talls. There is no longer a Murphy void to be filled with Keays. The Murphy void is now in the SANFL.I'm nitpicking but Pedlar and ROB both burning Draper in the last quarter pissed me off so much. Wtf was Pedlar thinking kicking it to ROB?
What happened to Ben Keays in this game? 7 disposals for 84% TOG is horrendous.
ROB had one of those rare kicking nights where most of his kicks hit a targetI'm nitpicking but Pedlar and ROB both burning Draper in the last quarter pissed me off so much. Wtf was Pedlar thinking kicking it to ROB?

Also marking almost everything.ROB had one of those rare kicking nights where most of his kicks hit a target
How does he not see Draper standing all on his own in the pocket? Do we need to get Sid a flare gun?ROB had one of those rare kicking nights where most of his kicks hit a target
I love Tex but yes, he will hurt Curtin’s on field development this season.A good question would be..
Does playing Tex hurt Curtins development and output in 2025?
Could we find room in the 22 for another ground ball player instead to maximise frontal pressure, turnover etc?
E.g. Pedlar, Berry, Schoenberg
Time to move on from Jones. Would rather Taylor, Dowling, Edwards, or Ryan be given his opportunities.Yeah but he’s had plenty of chances
And he should have been rewarded for his gut runningHow does he not see Draper standing all on his own in the pocket? Do we need to get Sid a flare gun?

The destination being ROB cancels out the better angle. To be fair the option of Draper would have meant a tighter angle
Yes the gut running was great but given our record in front of goals I am ok with the kick to the middle
But ROB found Fogarty who kicked the goal IIRC.The destination being ROB cancels out the better angle.
I would bet that 9 times out of 10 choosing to spot up ROB in that position would backfire on us. O'Brien is laughably bad at kicking. I can't remember him ever spotting up a forward before and I doubt he ever does it again. It's also just adding another opportunity to turn it over. Going directly to an open player in the pocket is better than kicking to a ruck standing on the 50m line, unless it's someone like Gawn who can kick a goal from that distance. But ROB found Fogarty who kicked the goal IIRC.

You’ve also been told he played the odd good game last year, but overall his form sucked, that’s why he was dropped after not one bad game, not 2 bad games but multiple bad games. He also didn’t finish top 10 in the B&F for a bottom side 3 years running. Its odd.
All I heard for the past few months is how terrible ROB's preseason has been.
Then he smokes the lead ruckman for a top 4 side last year and draws even with the lead ruck for the side that won the flag.

But you dismissed all of that and are now lauding him smoking Sweet in a trial game when you didn’t even watch the game after dismissing practice games.
What was said during the preseason was that McAndrew was consistently beating ROB. If you watch the internal trial you would have seen that too.
