I can't count the amount of times we've come up against a severely undermanned side and cope an absolute flogging

We'll still get done on the w/end, just by a little less.....maybe

Looks like Connors and Martin wont be playing. Hopefully the Dees players can take advantage of this and show som real heart.

I also hope they give Giz a run and play Blease from start not as a sub. We really need to know if they are going to make it or we are wasting our time.

This is the game they need to step up and give us fans a bit a hope.

Connors gone, Martin out.

No Vickery, Jackson or King

Smash Cotchin and double team Reiwoldt and you will be certainties this week.

No need to double team Reiwoldt when Frawley can just monster him as per usual.

Our big ins this week: Angus Graham (spud of the highest order), Addam Maric (you all know this story), Matt White (god help us), Kelvin Moore (back possibly after 2 years), Jeromy Webberly (see White comment)...problem is we have no depth.

Should be a close game!

Watching Graham go up against Spencer should be a comedy spectacle in the centre. You should just let Cotchin go up against Jones. Put each sides two best midfielder together one on one. No problem with Riewoldt, never beats Frawley!!!

Also remember you did beat a much stronger Essendon outfit.

Clearly You've never seen a Melbourne v Richmond game before. Frawley can handle Reiwoldt.

Albeit a much more arrogant and sloppy Essendon. Richmond won't underestimate us like they did though the weeks events might prove a distraction.

Problem is goals. i.e. who the eff is gonna kick them. The reality is that we are minus four starting fowards.

Would like to see the likes of Watts and Howe spending parts of the game forward this week... As you say we are light on for options.

Ricky Petterd? Could be his time.

If Sellar doesn't come up, Garlo and/or Rivers will have to drop back.

If you're going on Casey form then Fitzpatrick would be a chance to come in as a tall target alongside Martin/Garland. My most recent memories of him in the red and blue aren't filling me with confidence though. I'd much prefer seeing Cook thrown into the mix - a good week for a debut.

I'll just be happy with a bloke who can lead and a couple of midfielders who can honour that lead. Honestly our forward entries last week were a disgrace. The final margin should've been nowhere near what it was, we were just completely ineffectual when moving the ball inside 50 and creating genuine opportunities. Part of that was down to Brisbane's defence but alot of it was down to us being bereft of ideas.

If we had Clark, I'd back us to win this game considering the recent Richmond outs. No Clark though, and I can't see us kicking a large enough score.

We need to put Magner back in the midfield and out of the forward line, put Howe and Blease on the forward line a bit more often, and try Watts down there this week as there is much more to gain than lose by trying him as a forward again before the year is out

As sad and unexplainable as it may be, his VFL form has not warranted a call-up.

Yeah it's amazing how much he's dropped off the planet.. I always thought he was a good player with plenty of potential and upside.. Is he carrying a lingering injury?

Frawley had a stinker last week, so I really hope he follows that up by absolutely trouncing Riewoldt.

If Martin, Watts and Howe all have a run in the forward line, and Riewoldt and Cotchin can be stitched up, I reckon we're a shot.

Regardless, looking forward to it. :thumbsu:

EDIT: Jones and Jamar back would be nice too...
