I'd be gobsmacked if Hibberd plays based upon his game on the weekend.

Unfortunately it looks likely that Luke goes back to stand Lynch, with Macmillan, Williams, EVW, Taz, Hunter and Lachie.

Losing Mullett could not have come at a worse time, given Adelaide destroys teams on the turnover and Fish has been our best user this year. Bringing in Hibberd could not happen at a worse time considering he probably went at 20% by foot on the weekend, including at last half a dozen rank shanks that you would see at OzKick. It was an encouraging performance because he get very involved but yeah, deporable kicking.

I don't think Thomas should or will come back in. But if he does, Rory laird will go straight to him. He and spur smash LT every time.

re: waite, i'm just concerned about talia on brown, will make brown him virtually useless/liability. if waite's not there to take up talia then we may as well drop brown and bring in smalls.

This is where Pruess with a licence to impose his body on the contest will be invaluable in the forward line, I'd try to keep him there as long as possible.

Scotts said L.T ans Swallow might have to bode their time in the VFL for the moment in one of Giantroo's articles and i think that L.T should keep finding form in VFL for more than 1 week.

Then they tried to turn him into a defender. Brad Crouch was the second selection in the 2011 mini-draft from the GWS pre-selections they had. In the deal to get that number 2 pick we also got GWS to give us Luke Brown as the 'steak knives' by giving them pick 10 in the main draft.

With Mullett now out it presents an interesting selection decision on how to cover him. Also, I think we've been a tall forward short in the last couple and could use an extra mid. Will trust the club on whether Waite is right to go, but I'd bring him back through the twos. Simpkin looks like he needs a break, so I'd go with:

I see a lot of people saying that Jy needs a rest, have a look at the replay with about 37 sec to go in the last 1/4, Tazza hacks a kick forward, and Jy takes off to chase it down along with Browny and LMac, who both had a serious head start on him, at least 60+m later he arrives 1st (of those 3) at the scene at top pace, collides with Cunners and sits him flat on his arse, didn't look too tired to me.
