Whilst I agree it was a stupid act and should have got min 4 perhaps 6, but if you look closely the guy fell into the hit which would have normally hit him in the shoulder. I'm not condoning the attempt either, also, if you open your eyes a bit, you see those types of sneeky hits every week especially in your clubs grade.

Anyone else surprised that the VAFA don't put up the cases on the website on Mondays anymore even though their rules say they have to? Also anyone notice they don't put the results up till sometimes Friday. Anyone else notice that some players [Willy] have been allowed to take prescribed penalties for striking & dangerous play twice in the same season which is expressly against their own mandated rules? Let's just hide the cases.

They just don't want cases to be heard because it saves work. There is the questionable culture! No point fining them because we would be fining ourselves!

Only need to look at Skobs coming out over rumours a few weeks ago to see how a club gets out on the front foot. Shows that this club wants to stick its head in the sand and hope the storm just blows over, but this is the type of incident that can tarnish a club for a long long time.

What a load of rubbish. The player did not dust himself off and keep playing unless you call that being taken to hospital and not being available the next week. i would be interested to see if $$$ have imposed any additional penalty. This bloke would not be welcomed back to many clubs.

Saw a very similarly worded comment on a Facebook post about this incident which unlike this forum is not anonymous. Not a very bright bunch down at Parkdale, you would think their high profile players would steer clear of standing up for such thuggery with completely fabricated bullshit.
