It’s looking like OBALUMNIANDAFEWORMONDJUNIORS and OMs will be making up the numbers.

The young but ruthless SKOBAFL.
The hardened but due for a loss Lions.
And of course. The talent laden but catching up OXAFL.

It’s anyones flag to win now.
I liked it again , i wonder whether the eye will approve

Surely the match of the day game is at Braahton this week?
You would think so, both sides have plenty to play for.

Ditto for Collegians against Old Trinity as a win would sew up 2nd spot and the double chance. Add in Old Xavs v Uni Blues. Credit to Uni, they have not relented later on this season when they could have gone to water post the points cap issue. This will be a terrific contest.

Slight lack of drama to end the season this year unfortunately. Ladder looks pretty set aside from the elimination final ... and even that looks to be a contest in who gets to lose to Xavs the week after.

VFL players availability and eligibility to be the big determinate for me. I'm cautiously optimistic for the young SKOBBers with a resurgence Phil Edgar. Think its pretty even money between SKOB, Xavs & OC.

The SKOB vs Collegians game would be a dreaded scenario for the Lions, they know they can't beat them when it counts, although it's been an amazing run for the Lions boys, I for one are really happy for them as Mr Rivers is a terrific person. Could they do a UB and go from the edge of relegation to premiers? Mr Mike Olotripo would be hoping so.

I'm not sure that OX are an automatic qualifier for the prelim, OM's or Brighton will lick their wounds and come hard for them in that game. My gut tells me OB will win this week, they were pretty good against SKOB last week. They are hard and ferocious at the pill, which is not something OM's are renowned for. If we look at the recent meeting between the two of them, OM's were smashed in that area.

Let's hope all teams get through this weekend injury free, so we can all enjoy some great finals action, and may the best team, whoever that may be, be victorious

Gotta agree with "Plats". OB should get over OM's, just a little bit more polished Im thinking. Will be a cracker of a game, every thing on the line.
Dont you just love it..

Thanks Mr Platinum. I'm curious as to how SKOB managed to dismantle OB by such a humbling margin on the weekend. I agree that OB do play a more contested and ruthless style of football than OMs, but remember that it's Tom Paule's 200th game on the weekend and OMs I'm sure will no doubt be ensuring that such a club champion plays game 201 in a final.

OMs to win and stay alive
Scotchies in a bruise free game
SKOB playing very cautiously to get the job done in a tight one
OX to roar into the finals
OC to continue the ride

Braahton 1 pointers lost by 77 points so I’m not sure how that is “pretty good”. I do however think they will bounce back this week.

I would love to follow it live on match of the day but that’s not happening
