End of the day Crows are only decent when they have extremely high pressure… that pressure has slowly dissipated over the season, especially over the last month.

Couple that with being totally ill prepared and this happens.

Margin has flattered us. We were absolutely abysmal.

Starts with Nicks at selection. ****ed our structure for no reason. Idiot fraud.

Comprehensively out coached and out played across the entire ground on game day.

Some of the most mind numbing idiotic decisions you'll ever see from us. Shit the bed over and over again.

Furious with that display. We were disgusting, played loser football and were utterly embarrassed on the national stage

That coaching/preparation from McRae, that leadership from Moore and Sidebottom, and that pure control of a game from midfielders is where we need to get to. It's been a fun season, there is next week, and we're closer to the start of the overall journey than the end, but at times like this it feels like we're miles away.

A midfield monstering from the bounce. They straight-lined every contest, we fiddled at the edges. Collingwood have been preparing for tonight since about May.

Meanwhile we've got Nicks trying to outsmart himself with mind games for a 21 year old coming back from injury, and Laird at first half stoppages.

The ticking time bomb blew up in our face, which was our clearance game goes ice cold under extreme pressure which was the difference in that game. This team needed Matt Crouch.

Beyond that, jesus, we got that wrong. The Max call was awful (which was always the risk) and just didn't work.
Equally just the lack of composure with the ball in hand wasted our shots forward.

On the bright side, Pedlar may have finally clicked.

Warning signs were there the last month with constantly losing centre clearances and inability to clear defensive 50 for score
Figured we would try something to fix it up and even looked like we were trying to change a few minor things recently that will come in handy.

Instead decided to do exactly the same and did nothing

Absolutely out-coached. As if we were more worried about Josh and Nick daicos disposal numbers than the actual games. It’s not like we even lost in an unexpected number— they did exactly the same thing as last time with having a loose man in defense, just this time they forced the ball to ground more. They worked on actively reacting to the last game and fixing things up. We had a preview of how they wanted to play us, and were too arrogant to do anything about it. Deer in headlights.

As long as excellent coaches like Craig McRae and Chris fagan are around we will struggle as they actually plan their game plans around teams they are playing and not just through pure stubbornness.

We were embarrassed tonight. So many of our guys were not up to it in a big final. Just couldn't get near it. We have a lot to learn to be able to compete in a game like that.

Nicks totally out coached. Just couldn't do anything to get us going.

Real possibility of going out in straight sets.

If we face Hawthorn next week we are cooked
