You would be the lowest ranked prelim host if you won. Therefore you should get the Saturday game. But the AFL always likes to give Sydney special favours, so who knows.Friday night at the SCG would be perfect

They did it in 2012, when Hawthorn were minor premiers, and the AFL gave Sydney the Friday prelim. Despite Sydney's opponents playing on the Saturday before, while Hawthorn's opponents played on the Friday and were given more rest. One could argue it was a not-insignificant part of the Swans victory in the GF. Blatant favouritism from the AFL.

For one thing, Peel won't stand a chance against West Coast Royals. Plus I'd like to see Walters, Sandilands, Pavlich, Pearce, Dawson, McPharlin, Hill, Johnson, Ballantyne, Mundy Sutcliffe... Who have I missed?
