i'm pretty sure it's the most goals kicked by a non KPP in a single season.
however, how many were kicked in free play as oppossed to set shots i have no idea.
would have to think that it would be a fairly high %, although he did take a lot of marks for a midfielder cum forward.

p.s did he tell you of the time that he was snubbed by the great man. he was absolutely shattered.

was under the impression that hungry's record was broken in the '89 finals series by gazza but dont quote me on that.
also, for the amount of goals that KB kicked, you must remember that they came in over 400 games of football, thus no yearly total was as high as daics in '90.

KB had a great year in 1980; 21 goals in the finals, 84 goals in the year & a Norm Smith medal. Interestingly he didn't kick many monster totals in a single game, 7 was the highest.

Ablet played 242 games for 1021 goals - thats over 4 per game with a year & half out of the game in his career, pretty impressive.
Collingwood has no info up on past players, so I couldb't compare. But I certainly remember Daicos' freaking day against the Bears kicking 13 with so many of them tumbling along the ground soccer style.

Thanks for the question mate, When I had kicked my 75th goal in 1990 Leigh Matthews actually made me aware that I had beaten his record by a non full-forward I wasnt aware of this record, Leigh had kicked 70 something goals in 1975 or was it 1976 cant remember now anyway yes i have the record 97 goals in 24 games as a forward pocket not a bad effort.NaDeR said:
