She is the little girl in the fox ad who clenches her fists, grits her teeth, closes her eyes and shakes with the sheer excitement of yet another masterful display from the Hawks

Thats the one - well said OTC:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Did not realise it was a FOX adv.

It certainly is in one of Hawthorn's BF threads

It could be Lakes daughter
The picture I am thinking of is a full face of the girl with her arms 1/2 up and I am guessing her saying 'YES'

OK, I think that is almost certainly Lake's daughter. I thought that was the photo you meant. For some reason I can't find it on the internet though (otherwise I would have posted that one).

Thanks - could understand if it was taken down:cry:

Question??
Not very helpful with this question
Somewhere in this Hawthorn Forum there is a lovely photo of a young girl (guessing her age is around 5,6 or 7) excited after a win?? standing close to the fence ??
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Is there a YouTube link to the GF after party? I found one vid but it ends with Ellie Goulding before the boys come out to get their medals.

Definitely looks like her. I thought it was anyway.

Well, there is under 12hours to go before the start of the World Cup Rugby final between The Wallabies and The All Blacks. It should be a beauty, let us all hope Australia can cause an upset. The All Blacks are red hot favorites. I will be having quite a few coffees between now and 3am :drunk::cool::eek:, might throw in a couple of reds to keep the spirits up if the Wallabies aren't doing to well. Fingers crossed i hope The Wallabies can do it.

I have no understanding or interest in rugby but will happily jump on any passing Australian bandwagon so...
GO WALLABIES!!!

As for staying up until 3am, no way. If I wake up in the middle of the night (highly likely) I will switch it on.

Was listening to ABC Grandstand in the car today and there was an interview with David Parkin about his 20 year involvement with the All Blacks coaching staff. Was interupted and missed the 1st part of the interview, so didnt get the story of the actual 'involvement'. Caught his thoughts about their culture, and he seemed to sing about it the same as he would the Hawks. Ended up contrasting with that of the Aussie cricket team. Was blunt, and didn't care for how they carried on, on or off the field.

Come on, 3am is not late :D thought you were tougher than that. Less than 2hours to go.

My appreciation of the game they play in heaven goes back to where my family originate, Newcastle NSW. My mums uncle played Rugby at the highest level. I was born in Newcastle and we came to Melbourne when I was 2.

Love the game, much better than league, or at least it is a thinking mans game instead of league where you just run straight at an opposition player and hope for the best.

I also attended Marcellin where you were encouraged to play the game. I played school rugby(not very well). I had an Athletics background so the only position I was allowed to play was the wing and the occasional full back. I never took it seriously as I enjoyed Football and Athletics a lot more.

I have watched every World cup final since 1987 when it was jointly held by Australia & New Zealand.

Also I like to point out that Aussie Rules is the best game to play and watch in the world no matter what people say and my beloved Hawthorn fc the best team in the world.
For me the game of Rugby is my second favorite sport I like to watch..

I hope The Wallabies can pull of a Miracle tonight. Coffee Machine has been working overtime.

Caught a segment on the radio yesterday about how the hawks have become a more accurate goal kicking side due to an attractive young lady who lives in one of the homes around Waverly. Apparently she puts on a little show to distract the boys by pressing her bits against her window. Talk about a destination club, would be doing my best if i was a young player to get to the hawks.

Can anyone tell me about the quality of the games on the Victory Pack dvd set?
I went to JB hifi this morning, and was told it hasn't been released and they are unsure why
There is no new release date as yet, but you can still pre-order it
Not happy!

Just on our way to see the premiership cups and the thought came to me:

Has there been a more traveled cup than our 2013 one? 3 trips around Australia in 3 years!

Somebody has written some magnificent stuff about our past granny's 61+ 70's i think it is - anybody know where they are/link?

Whoever it was - The Big X? Would love the same done for the rest of them 80s plus 08 plus 3peat. This would be sensational reading this time of the year. Seriously top shelf stuff.
