Warming towards

Ins Pedlar Bond
Outs Tex Butts

But only if it’s significantly wet

I’d play Berry in starting 22 and Taylor sub
Butts?

Why are you dropping him when he makes our defence more solid?

Carlton games I've been to have been much quieter compared to Collingwood.
I’ve been to a few Carlton ones that have been so agrressive , the pies fans I can cope with and they seem to fire up late when they look like winning

Most of the time they’ve been pretty worried as we’ve looked pretty dangerous

Agree totally. There is no real match up for Butts. And I reckon we should have started Berry last week and made Taylor sub.
Tex should have been rested already but Fogs injury put a line though that. He definitely gets the rest next week no matter what.

Big opportunity to take a scalp, it's time to finally get over the top of Collingwood. Take all luck out of it and just beat them for 4 quarters. We can take their spot in the top 4. Probably the most important game of the season so far.

Don't they normally rest a ruckman in the forward line? If not, then yes push Butts out and bring in Bond. If Bond doesn't come in for the Pies small forwards then he probably never will

Does Jamie Elliott have a habit of cutting us up, or am i disproportionately scarred from just a handful of times being cut up?
I have similar scars. He hasn't played against us much recently.
He has had bags of 5 and 6 against us, but it isn't so much the number of goals but the fact he he has a habit of getting off the chain in clutch moments. He has been Collingwood's final goal scorer in two of the 5 games we lost by less than a goal in recent years.

Why? Collingwood have the record and are favourites. It's theirs to lose.
Understand this point but given the conditions and the likely lack of firepower for Collingwood this could be our best shot with everything going our way

He did post 'only if it's significantly wet'. There won't be many contested marks if that's the case and you'll want more ground ball speed.
Butts will be needed to take their Texan.

iTS ours to lose.
No, it's for both teams to win or lose.

You do realise we are playing one of the top 2 teams on their very home deck... & you are talking like it's a gimme game, like we had won our past 9 games against them.
