We dominated for next to nothing, Mitchell adjusted from quarter time and they started winning contested ball. We had no intensity for ground ball, key players missed basic goals, and Nicks didn't do anything despite it being obvious the way the game was heading - again.

This is a repeat pattern in big games away from home. We totally pissed that away and is a step back from the step forward last week.

We're not Top 4.

Oh and Murphy. I mean seriously, what are we even doing here.

A lot of dumb footballers in our side and we lack class. We dominated the first half, should've been 50 up but i don't give a **** if it's dewy and tough conditions - if you are a good footballer you can pick the ball up and kick a ball under pressure. It was a moments game, Hawks had the better moments as they had classier footballers even though they are a worse football side. Awful sub by Nicks as well, and selection was awful - we had 5 talls up forward for some reason when it was clear it isn't a talls game. That said, Curtin was a star - marked everything and shows we need to pump games into talented players, not spuds like Berry, Murphy or Smith.

Could tell halfway through the second qtr we would regret the misses. Nicks should've shoved Dawson into the forward line Q2 when it became obvious we couldn't buy a goal. Heck, move Curtin there - he was actually clunking them.

Selecting Tex, Murphy and Smith is unforgivable. That has to be the end of Smith this season. Useless sub performance.

Playing Tex just to get him to 300 costs us again today.

But above all once again our zero IQ footy side just doesnt have the smarts to get it done. Fogarty, Dawson, Hinge - all culpable in key moments.

Football is a shit sport. Shouldn't have been close, however we wasted a lot of opportunities and thus a valuable four points is thrown down the drain. The worst ****ing part is we've been the best goalkicking side in the league to this point. Damn cruel it was Berry who ****ed up the spoil as well, as he had quite the game until that point.

On the bright side, that was probably Soligo's best game for half a season, and makes me wonder if the Soligo-Peatling partnership in the midfield is the problem. Equally, that probably was Butts best game for Adelaide.

Also, worth mentioning, but Hinge is building a career of wilting in the pressure cooker. That 50 was utterly stupid.

Thus the bye becomes a very interesting two week period.

two weeks and two big tests for the club to see where we really are, and you've got your answer.

last week got the four points, unconvincingly, and purely by the opposition shitting the bed.

followed by a week of everyone saying we didn't deserve the win. you would think that would lead to some effort and intent. but instead we fill the team with...murphy and smith.

so this week we have a chance to prove that last week wasn't pure luck....and we deliver one goal in a half of football.

diabolical. worst game by the crows this year, and in my eyes in recent memory, including last time we were belted by hawks by 66.

2nd week in a row we directed absolutely ****ing nothing to their advantage. We just keep hoping they'll jag a mark when we bomb it in. Oppo gives us zero space inside 50 and our forwards all sit absolutely static and don't work to make any.

The intensity in the second half. Came out like Nicks had let them know all was good.

Probably cancels out last week. But FMD that was a bad loss

The last quarter turned into an u7s game of everyone run with the ball
