Little bit of everything.Desire, talent or fitness you reckon?
I mean this year is a write off given his injury, but he'll need to work his backside off over summer to get fit and focused

Murray could be a massive point of different in the forward line. He may not have the finesse etc but he will put the fear of God in the defenders.I’d have Murray switching between the forward group and defenders over preseason next year. He could be the answer when Tex retires. Won’t replace him but can come in as the third option / point of difference as TT and Fog take the mantle.
I wouldn't trust him to kick a set shot.Murray could be a massive point of different in the forward line. He may not have the finesse etc but he will put the fear of God in the defenders.
That's it.I wouldn't trust him to kick a set shot.

Could play the Levi "im going to destroy the pack just dont let me kick it" Casboult roleThat's it.
Has any of these people asking Murray to go forward seen him kick at goal, he's atrocious
He just needs to handball it to that very accurate kick and exceptional forward player, Max Michalanney!Could play the Levi "im going to destroy the pack just dont let me kick it" Casboult role
But I dont think there's too much point in it.
Unless they move him to HBHas been pretty average on average. Not bad enough to get dropped, not good enough to not warrant discussion. But Curtin elevating himself could make Cunming the lesser wingman, and perhaps he could be looked at. But I doubt the selection committee find Sholl or Jones too appetising and can’t see Dowling or anyone else that hasn’t played AFL this year getting a call up.
Unless they move him to HB
Milera would be the one if we were to do it2 x KPDs, Worrell, Max, Laird, Milera & Hinge is 7. I know we toyed with Max up forward against the present might of the Richmond Footy Club, but that's not a long or medium term change. So if Cumming reverted to his best role at half back, which of Laird or Milera do you see either moving up the ground or back to the 2s?
Yeh fair point, its Laird or Milera, and it’s not going to happen, Smith?2 x KPDs, Worrell, Max, Laird, Milera & Hinge is 7. But we wont.

I'd actually prefer Laird. But it doesn't matter either way, if we moved Cumming back, he'd have to be replaced on the wing. And I doubt that we'd be dropping either Laird/Milera from behind the ball to bring in Dowling or Jones onto a wing. I'd definitely give it a go, but our coaches won't.
Laird works hard, always has. Strange call.I think we would be worse with Sholl or Jones in to accommodate Cumming back so it makes sense we wouldn't do that
Neither Laird nor Milera work hard enough to play the wing role either
How would Worrell go on the wing?He doesn't work hard in the sense of running patterns that a wing role requires
Don’t shoot the messenger. Thilly’s knee injury was a bad one. And big men can have problems with bone on bone later in their career. Is it as bad as Thilthorpe's career threatening knee injury?
We have Murrays brother on our list for this purpose you knowI’d have Murray switching between the forward group and defenders over preseason next year. He could be the answer when Tex retires. It wasn’t aimed at you George…you just assume it is.Perhaps Jenny before you bring out the You You You, you might want to find a post where I’ve actually “melted” about Murphy’s selection. Given you won’t be able to, I accept your apology in advance given it’s unlikely to be forthcoming.
Anyway back to why your post is pathetic. Murphy has been picked 2 weeks in a row, where were your posts mocking posters then? Of course you couldn’t because their concerns were validated.
So this week posters were again concerned our moronic coach would pick Murphy again, they commented on it in a changes thread because that’s exactly what this thread is for, comment on selection. If you want posters not to comment on potential selection what’s the point of the thread?
Then you get sucks come in and post crappy melt posts as if posters haven’t had valid reasons to have issue with selection previously and been validated.
I think that is very possible IF Crouch can get fit. Tom Mitchell really gave Collingwood something last night and there is still a place for that hard nosed inside ball winner with elite hands in my opinion. Which Crouch absolutely is when at his best.Wonder if when/if Crouch is right, he will come in fresher for finals and someone like Soligo takes that role or more rotations?
