Dan Curtin might be the most talented player we have ever drafted in our history.

Needs to work on his kicking inside 50.

And yes, I'm nitpicking.

I said at the start of the season we had a top 4 list with a bottom 4 coach, and would still play finals on the quality of our list.

Well, Nicks still has some work to do, especially around selection and development - but the transformation of this team and the coaching approach in the second half of the year has been incredible. Davis and Balme must've finally gotten him to wake up.

Today I said in the first quarter - lets see what Nicks does, because Q1 was a coaching belting.

Must give credit to him, we made adjustments and improvements to curb that game and strengthen ours. We made moves with Rankine, Curtin, Gunston defender etc - we were proactive and dynamic.

Hopefully he keeps learning and improving, because he's got the list to win a flag.

The Crows of old do not win that.

To come out as flat as a pancake and be five goals down at the end of the first, looking like a repeat of old prime time chokes, and to win, is a sign of maturity. We were challenged twice, and responded with fire.

This is a new Crows, and I'm here for the journey.
Absolutely not. They fooled me, I had us on toast. We looked shell shocked. Hawthorn. Again. At home. Didn't show up.

Only the second time under Nicksy we've come back from 5 goals down to win. A hallmark of us under Nicks is that we never really give up, just until now we've never been able to actually convert a bad deficit into an actual win. Nearly every single time over the past 6 years it's been an honourable loss in this circumstance.

And we just keep shrugging off the monkeys. 1 to go.

Unfortunately we cannot played bond, max and laird, can only play 2. Will be interesting to see what happens

You’d imagine Bond has at least up until the pre finals bye, would you play Max straight up after being out for 5 weeks with a Hammy?

Flagcrom and we're getting NAS. There is no ugly

Wow, so much to unpack. Superb game of finals like football.

The first quarter looked like the classic Neil Craig choke. We were fumbly and looked a bit shellshocked. The rest of the game was the opposite.

This team has the ability to win when things aren't going our way.

So many clutch moments by Dawson, Thilthorpe, ROB, Rankine, Tex, Worrell.

I loved Nicks throwing Curtin into the middle to start the last. Again, it was so different from the Crows we've become accustomed to seeing.

More than the four points was us passing the test (coaches and players). Massive, massive statement.

Bad': fumbles early 😤

Think ppl are being harsh on cook, yeah sure he didn't get much of it but we never had any real episodes of impey-and-amon-run-off-half-back-and-kill-us this time

Good Dawson and my god curtin is a star. Milera honourable mention. Defence stood up after q1

Bad a slow start, looked sore and slow turns out it was mental

Ugly I don’t generally bag umpiring but honest to go stevic looked good compared to that toner w***er. I’ve watched him umpire us for 3 years now, honestly shades of Troy panell

Nick’s wouldn’t have had the courage to in the past to put Curtin in

His work rate in the 3rd was an issue. Was playing deep forward and kept getting caught with his man being able to rebound against him.

I'm a Cook fan, but it feels like we don't have a role for him that he's gonna be able to find a consistent 22 spot in.
