And 41 touches. Double mistake from Billy.Ah, that's what Dowling did wrong. Made the mistake of playing.
We need to as posters to get around each other tonightWTF is this.
Baffling.
New drinking game. Like skydiving without a parachute you can only play once. How many times will 'lost at selection' be mentioned in the GBU thread post game?

I'll be at a friends 70th birthday that night, no doubt watching the game on TV with an open bar at hand.New drinking game. Like skydiving without a parachute you can only play once.
BingoDavis is to Nicks is what Walsh was to Hinkley. I’m convinced if Davis was to leave we would slide back down. These dumb selections scream of Nicks because we’ve seen it for six years.

This drinking game could get rather messy.![]()

Mitchell just doesn't want a broken jaw.it’s a bit like DMAC.
Inexplicably loved to people on the outside, but Sam Mitchell seems to love DMAC too.
As with Nicks though, not you, not you, not you, youWe've seen it for 20+ years, not 6.
No matter who the coaches are, who the assistants are etc. As Phil Walsh put it, "next man up".
Until we win and then it will be but Davis saved the day with strategic genius.Davis is to Nicks is what Walsh was to Hinkley. I’m convinced if Davis was to leave we would slide back down. These dumb selections scream of Nicks because we’ve seen it for six years.
It made sense when Neil Craig held that philosophy as it was his tactics/strategy/positioning that would win matches not personnel. Nicks is relying entirely on the talent of those he puts on the field so he simply can't hold that "next man up" attitude. We've seen it for 20+ years, not 6.

A post I made specifically about Lachie Murphy after our game against the Suns in Round 5, 2019. So 15 games in to Murphy’s career. Quite a few were getting very excited about Murphy kicking a couple of goals despite what I saw as glaring deficiencies in his game that were blatantly obvious. And as it would turn out, his couple of goals were against the team that would go on to finish dead last that year and were genuinely awful. He’s since played more than 100 games from this point in time with zero improvement. How has he managed another 6 years of an AFL career from there ?? He’s never displayed an ounce of AFL level traits or talent. Horrendous list management as well as selection policy from our coaching group !!!No he didn't. He was way too often in a terrible position and not where he should be. Even the goal from the goal square he didn't end up there through intent, reading the play and demanding the footy, he meandered in there almost by accident and the Suns players were all drawn to CEY who won the ground ball. The behind the goals vision that was shown as the replay highlighted this. His 3rd goal he was a deer in headlights and just put it on the boot. The game moves too fast for him and it's obvious. His decision making is not close to AFL standard, he constantly fumbles ground balls and drops simple marks which was on display again yesterday. If that satisfies you then fine, but there is potential for a much better player to line up in our 22.
Not hard to see the obvious:Until we win and then it will be but Davis saved the day with strategic genius.
I’ve said this before, but in the event Davis left/was poached, the proof would be in whether we revert back to shit tactics afterwardsNot hard to see the obvious:
Pre Davis we are tactically inept with some stupid decisions and really bad selections. Club employs a coaching director with a brain.
Post Davis we have an effective gameplan with less stupid decisions and bad selections.
So what do you think is the change? Davis or Nicks going to Harvard?
