I had expectations we would play better than that.
But our team is what it is. Limping out the season.

Apart from other players mentioned, I thought 2MP played well too. Kicked goals, grabbed marks, got around the ground.

Maybe its just me, but having Essendon and Carlton being left off the free to air on a Thursday night, to show reruns of some boring reno show, seems to be a sad turning point in our sport.

Was at the game last night and watched most of the match from Level 4.

A couple of positives to highlight:

1. Angus Clarke is a lot bigger/stronger in person than I originally thought. It seems like he was reading the play a lot better the more experience that his getting under his belt.

2. Nguyen was sticking close/keeping his opponents honest for most of the night. I could tell his opponents were getting frustrated with him. Good to see.

3. Kako, was very clean with the balls/keeps on his feet. It does feel like we are asking him to do so much early in his career (small forward, mid, push up and down the ground). He really needs a partner in crime/small forward. Hopefully El Achkar can be that person next year!
