Edwards should've been picked over Taylor who will likely be delisted in 6 months time.

Possible, though Taylor might be a Cook situation where we're willing to give him a lot of time to grow up (and to be fair, his endurance etc has improved in recent years).

It's been a 50/50 mix... absolutely sure that Taylor would be the one brought in out of him or Edwards, BUT - resting Tex when Dawson was also an out was not one of their typical behaviours.

Spot on . Cook is 9cm taller too . Those guys are worth waiting for the investment. So far Taylor really doesn’t look to have enough weapons at the elite level unfortunately and at 180cm there are plenty of options

Who do you have as likely?

At the moment, Sholl, Dowling, Jones and Welsh. Though, I am expecting Tex to retire, and Butts to opt for FA. I could imagine Ryan finds himself in the gun as well, but that'll depend on this period for Jones.

We're already short one senior list spot (from afldraftguru) as well, though I don't anticipate us filling the list unless we get a few trades in.

Yeh, it’s an odd one, TT is awesome, but hitting up passes on his left isn’t a standout. Even Tex doesn’t have that in his kit bag. He’s a massive left foot kick for length and line accuracy, but he rarely hits up precision short passes on it. Fog is extremely good hitting short passes on his left, as good as Betts was, and he was awesome.

We need Max to spend more minutes as a defensive mid because we'll get found out easily if rach or rankine fill those minutes left by Dawson

Tex is known as a great left foot kick, but it’s not built on hitting precision short passes. It’s long kicks to goal or long kicks to space allowing players to run onto it.
