I wouldn’t be expecting anything outside the obvious.

Not enough keys out in this thread for my liking
I truly believe his days are numbered. He no longer contributes anything. Used to have a bit of composure with ball, he no longer has that either
How is it that I have been commenting here for the last seven years saying this clubs player selection week in week out is just bewilderingly dumb?..
SEVEN ****ING YEARS.
and still nothing has changed.
How is it that there isnt anyone in the media saying.. “jesus.. who the **** does the selecting down there at Adelaide?”
A hell pf a lot of us bigfooty supporters have been seeing it and screaming about it for the best part of a decade now.. but barely a peep from the media..
ROB, mchenry, jones, Keays (70% of the time), Rowe, Murphy, mackay etc.. these players over the nicks period were given/have been given game after game after game and shown they are/were shit.. yet no one in the club can see it and the media barely says anything.
Its almost as if the media being so Vic centric, and in adelaide being very port biased, are sitting back holding their tongues.. “shhh, don’t say anything.. Never interrupt your enemy when he is making mistakes!!”
Remember when we went through that period where Nicksy thought just picking the one tall KPD in defence was a great idea..
And how good were the keays/laird/sloane/crouch midfield years.. remember when those four got 80% of the cb’s and midfield minutes.. how many years did it take Nicksy and the club to finally realise that it was one of the worst midfield combinations in the comp?.. 3?… 4?.. or was it nearly 5?.. ****.. he even went back to Keays and laird during his failed finals campaign last year. Dusted off his little safety blankies..
Remember how long it took Worrell to get a game in the AFL side.. question mark over his attitude was the rumour/excuse.. and then he only got one in the end cause doedee got injured.. and worrell was a gun player from his very first game..
How many of our young players languish in the sanfl for a year or two “proving themselves” whilst complete hacks like laird and old cooked players that are about to retire like brodie smith still get/got games in front of them.. “ahhh, they still have things to work on” Nicksy says after a young player gets 35 possession's, 8 clearances and two goals in the midfield in the sanfl.. yet a ****ing dgrade skilled gumby like ROB doesnt need to work on anything right Matthew?
But hey.. I guess we showed “selection integrity” when we publicly shamed and dumped a young lad from the team for a couple of indiscretion's.. a young small forward who a year and a half later became a premiership winner and All Australian.. but hey.. we didnt need his sort of winning in the team.. we had the perfect replacements in mchenry and murphy for our forward line.
This club is rotten.. its well past cooked… it completely ****n rotten.

Hinge next out?He needs more bad games before they’ll drop him for a kid. I had him and Hinge as next out following Pedlar/Taylor, but it would take a couple of bad months of form from him. Half way there.
Hinge next out?
He didn’t play
Cut and paste error...shows some people just have an axe to grind.Hinge next out?
He didn’t play
For starters Butts is still unavailable due to the AFL's concussion protocols isn't he?Out - Nicks, ROB, Chayse Jones, Borlase, Finbar Maley, (Pedlar)
In - A better coach, Butts, Fog, Cumming, Dowling/Edwards/Draper
Out: ROB, Soligo, Pedlar, Jones,
In: Edwards, Fog, Cumming, Draper
Cut and paste error...shows some people just have an axe to grind.
I have Pedlar and Taylor as just outside fully fit best 23. Then I have Berry and Hinge who will start the season as best 23 but can’t afford more than a few weeks of bad form.
Yes. I believe he is ruled out for that game. For starters Butts is still unavailable due to the AFL's concussion protocols isn't he?
Keays being one.We should win this pretty easily.
The skis will come out against a bottom four side and certain players who have given us nothing all year will be talked up as being "back in form".
I am more thinking we will win a bunch of the upcoming games as those sides are not of the quality we faced in the first 4 rounds, and thats fine as i am counting down to when Curtin is backas he makes a big difference to our structure and we get draper into the side. 2 guys who offer a difference to us. Things are never as bad as they seem nor as good as they seem. Our % is almost level despite the losses and we have room to improve in us when we have our full kit available.Don't really care at this point. We'll win. Yay. Then what? We aren't going anywhere
so with ROB and maley out you are ok with thilthorpe 2nd rucking?I wouldn't be opposed to some sweeping changes just to get some of the depth out of our side. As good as Dowling and Edwards have been, bringing them in at the expense of more experience players will just backfire.
OUT:
- Pedlar (Concussion saves him from being dropped anyway)
- ROB (forever, I'm genuinely a better kick than this guy)
- Jones (forever and ever)
- Maley (I just don't quite see it like some on here do, a bad Fog game is still better than him. That awful kick from 50m in the dying minutes was embarrassing for a forward no matter your experience)
- Bond (No class, plays a role we don't need right now. Lock down 1v1 small defenders are a thing of the past. Needs to work on his offensive game in the SANFL)
- Taylor (Harshest one, I just don't see it in him, he'll never be a player that can find the footy consistently)
IN:
- Hinge (Need some class off half back alongside Milera, everyone else kicks it as far as possible with no thought)
- Laird (Missing a settled head down back that can at least find the football, probably frees Max up more to play looser)
- Cumming (Not playing that well but another experienced head who can just play his role more consistently)
- Fogarty (So important for structure, makes Tex's and Thilthorpe's lives so much easier and at least we can still bank on him for a goal or 2 if he's not playing well. Added bonus this is the perfect game vs Carlton to maybe build some form)
- Draper (Perfect time to give him a run in the big leagues, weaker opponent on our home deck. We can't waste this opportunity)
- Dowling (I can see him doing exactly what Taylor does just better, personally I'm not sure why Taylor is ahead of him)
Keays and Soligo are definitely down on form but their bad games are better than some of our depth players good games. We're playing for flags, not rebuilding. Dropping Keays and Soligo for Dowling and Edwards as some have suggested would genuinely make me tip Carlton. Too much inexperience, last time we did that we lost to an awful Richmond side at home.
It's Carlton. They also only have one ruck. Not everyone is doing the dual ruck move right now. We don't have to especially against teams that don't. GC, Western Bulldogs, Sydney all aren't. Geelong don't even have a single real ruckmen.so with ROB and maley out you are ok with thilthorpe 2nd rucking?
I wouldn’t take this game too lightly, yeah they are cooked but so are we. I watched their game yesterday and they did the normal thing that we do. But in reverse. They start fast and finish slowly. If nothing changes we could be in a lot of trouble by half time.We will likely win this game as Blues are cooked, but won't mean much as we are not going anywhere under Nicks
B: Michaelanny, Borlase, Murray
HB: Laird, Worrell, Milera
C: Cook, Dawson, Cumming
HF: ANB, Walker, Taylor
F: Rankine, Thilthorpe, Fogarty
R: McAndrew, Berry, Rachele
I: Nankervis, Peatling, Edwards, Dowling, Maley
In: Fogarty, Cumming, Edwards, Dowling, Laird, Nankervis
Out: O’Brien, Jones, Pedlar, Keays, Soligo, Bond
Bond unlucky, but imo Laird too similar.
Keays needs to find form in the sanfl.
Soligo needs managing with short breaks.
A player may have a bad game or make a crucial mistake, but this kind of personal abuse is abhorrent.I dont care who comes in but if ROB ever wears a guernsey for this club again I will go down to training and slide tackle yhe campaigner myself. He is without doubt the worst *ing piece of shit I've ever seen plah football. And the ****ing cunf is in the leadership group. * this boys club organisation and the ****ing double standards that they set
