I'm certainly not putting any blame on Draper but 2 touches in the last qtr fresh is not ideal. Has been a bit off lately. Maybe could do with a rest?

Again, nothing against him but let him go and dominate the SANFL for a week.
Looks like he’s being over coached and trying to adhere to structure vs play on instinct

It’s concerning but we’ve seen it with high end draftees before (Jones, Rachele, Curtin, McAsey)

Coaching issue. No issue with giving him a SANFL run but play him to his weapons FFS

These are the days the SANFL side usually shits the bed, or even worse we get Murphy and Smith play well.

Haven't finished watching the game yet but I could think of a number of guys who should drop out. Hopefully Murray isn't injured, and that the subbing of Crouch is a sign that he might be one to make way next week.

Pick Dowling, debut Edwards, swap Keane for Butts, Fogarty if he's ready

Out:
Hinge (susp), O’Brien, Milera, Crouch

In:
McAndrew, Dowling, Edwards, Fogarty

Sub:
Curtin

Draper takes Crouch’s role

Edwards takes Milera’s role

McAndrew replaces O’Brien

Dowling adds to our flexibility

Nank and Cumming combine to fill the void left by Hinge

Fogarty returns to his normal role which Curtin played tonight

It looks like Chayce Jones all over again, too many instructions! Just let him play on instincts

We saw what he is capable of in that trial game against the Lions. He was playing with his natural instincts that game when he came on. I would like to see him attend more centre clearances next week to see if he can find that form again.

Walker looked slow and tired last night. Probably would have been the ideal game to rest him if Fog was playing. Also I think we need to swap to TT rucking in the forward 50, Tex has lost his ability to win those throw ins like he used to. Got caught quite a few times when taking it out the ruck.

We missed our chance to freshen up Walker against Gold Coast. Cluttered schedule, away trip, all other forwards fit. These opportunities pass us by because we only ever see what is immediately in front of us. No foresight whatsoever.

Now we can't. Need a win and Fog and Thilthorpe both dealing with injuries.

He looked fine at the end, think he just struggles with Pearce.

Outs:-
Crouch. Taylor. Draper. Keane.(?)Worrell
Nankervis

Ins:-
Dowling. Butts. Edwards. Pedlar. Fogarty

B:- Michaelanney. Butts. Worrell
HB:- Cumming. Murray. Dawson
C:- Curtin. Peatling. Dowling
1R:- O’Brien. Soligo. Rankine
HF:- Neal-Bullen. Fogarty. Keays
F:- Walker. Thillthorpe. Rachelle

Int:- Laird. Hinge. Milera. Edwards
Sub:- Pedlar

If Worrell gets suspended then Keane holds his spot for another week.
Dawson and Cumming behind the ball to try and give a bit more drive and composure.
I’d like to drop O’Brien but clearly they won’t yet.
Nankervis unlucky, could move him to sub rather than bring in Pedlar.

Definitely wouldn't drop Keane. Had a poor game but was good the last couple of weeks before that, brings something pretty special when he's playing well and needs to be persisted with. Plus it's not like the alternatives are great.

Assuming no suspensions, I'd look at something like:
Out: Thilthorpe (injured), Draper
In: Fogarty, Dowling

Would also consider Taylor and Crouch as potential outs, though I'd try and give Taylor one more game.
