Barefoot Investor is actually a really good intro to money management. I especially like the principle that you be a tightarse regarding mundane things that don't make you very happy so that you can splurge a little bit, infrequently of course, on things that do make you happy, once you've put away enough to be saving for the future.

That has nothing to do with masculinity, women can be homophobic, misandristic, commit domestic violence and sexually assault people, particularly in homosexual relationships.

Testosterone is more likely to make men assholes, because it can lead to aggression issues and the consequences of violence can be more impactful than when women commit it, but this cycle of violence and abuse is part of the problem we face. We will never address the problem unless we focus on it from both fronts, a lot of really toxic mothers also help to create future toxic men. It is not like assholes just fall out of the sky.
