You'll sit down and watch the first three episodes and be totally blown away.Excellent as I've been iQ'ing it and, as you do, couldn't remember why I'd done so sight unseen (which usually leads me to deleting the lot). Will check 'em out now.
Black MirrorYou'll sit down and watch the first three episodes and be totally blown away.
I think we're living in a golden age of television - so many amazing shows happening or recently happened.
Breaking Bad
Fargo
True Detective
There's Night Manager
Broadchurch
Luther
Game of Thrones
Bloodline
House of Cards
I think we can safely add The Night Of to the list of great contemporary TV.

Congrats to The Beast, Eric Wallace, on being signed for 3 years by the Carolina Panthers NFL team as a Tight End.
Mustn't have spent enough time with Nahas if he's still a tight end.

Sopranos, The Wire, West Wing and Deadwood and a bit later Mad Men were all more ground breaking than those 80s shows those heralded the more recent crop of quality television.True Detective Season 1.
One excellent episode of Season 2 doesn't count.
Sopranos was the Godfather of all of these.
The 80's actually sowed the seeds...Hill St Blues...St Elsewhere..Miami Vice...LA Law...Moonlighting...all shattered the mould of what tv should be.

Deadwood, sopranos and the wire are definitely among my favourite TV series ever.

And his minister...
At a press conference in Canberra Scullion told the media that he had never seen the footage aired by the ABC before and was out at dinner when Four Corners was broadcast.
“The PM rang me, fairly agitated, and said, ‘Have you seen it?’ And I said, ‘No, mate.’ He said, ‘You better go home and see it. Give me a ring.’” Scullion said.
