I was playing around with the side in my head, and the effect NDS will have on others if he becomes an addition. Particularly an emphasis on allowing Boomer more time to roam loose on the field.

I remembered a stat I was told a week or so ago.

He sits at 47.5%.

Then I remembered Dal's game against the Suns where he went at 90%+ disposal efficiency late in the season.

Petrie, but more importantly Black will have a field day, if we can get the ball in the hands of our good ball users 80 out from goal. Wells, Dal, or Boomer, one of them should hurt sides if we win enough of the footy. They won't stop all three.

But, 47.5%. He is criminally underrated with his ball use that bloke. Decision making and deft touch. He's a champion and I hope we can add quality to our rotations to allow him more freedom in his last years, to continually slice the opposition open.

I then went on, in 'random thought' tradition to note that our great club came into existence in 1869, and that perhaps we're missing out on a great marketing moniker - The North Melbourne 69ers!
