I read in Kevin Taylor's Footystats Diary** that the AFL, Village Ten Online, Bloomberg TV and Fairfax f2 have signed with the Real Broadcast Network launched in Sydney on May 4.
Apparently the Real Broadcast Network promises a more viable way to transmit video and audio from websites with broadcasts of better-quality images that can be downloaded faster than existing Internet services.
I think anything would be better than the current quality of Internet broadcasts. Even on my cable modem service the quality is pretty bad. I wonder if Elliot knew what was afoot when he started his kerfuffle over broadcast rights?
