I can remember when Pearce played his first couple for us down back, and we were all like whoa…. we’ve got us one here….Josh Draper is gonna be something SPECIAL!!! That is all!!!!

Do we have to keep throwing shit at Hughes? It changes the dynamic of the team. He looks like he will be an A grader. What a find!
Draper and Chappy in the team, Cox coming back, Hughes will be out and I am not sure who else, but the pressure for spots will be immense.
You BEAUTY!
So who do you drop when Cox, Darcy and Chappy are fit and ready to return.Do we have to keep throwing s**t at Hughes?
Definitely not throwing and shade at Hughes, let alone s**t.Do we have to keep throwing s**t at Hughes?

Hardly throwing s**t.
Darcy back first, then Dogga back to forward/ruck/does whatever he want role and Tabs is out. With McDonald out also, when Cox comes back in 3 months, Draper stays and Hughes is out.I imagine Draper will get dropped when Cox comes back no matter how well he's playing, they play the same position.
to be honest when I saw the 1st 5 rounds, I seriously thought freo were gonna go 0-5 or 1-4.
Looking at those 1st 5 games we have.
Brisbane at home we won
North Melbourne away we won.
Crows at home we won
then we have Carlton and Port at Adelaide.
Like most neturals, I expected Brisbane to kick on after their 2023 grand final loss.
I was quietly confident on beating North, I didnt expect that 1st half.
Crows I expected to improve after narrowly missing out on finals in 2023.
I wouldnt mind seeing freo give the premiership chances a shake in 2025.I was hoping we would be 2-3 and could make a run from there.
I think we will win at least one of the next two and be 4-1, add in a ridiculous percentage and we are in a great position to play finals this season.
Next year we give the flag a shake.
Never had a player like Jackson.I agree on Banfield as he kicks goals and has limited mistakes. Super reliable player. And I have wanted him gone from the team many times over the last few seasons.
We have never had a player like Jackson. And while the spine had more defensively in 2013-2015, they didn't have as much up front or on the flanks.
If Johnson can continue to grow in the contest like he did today, our midfield looks at least close to what we had then. Prime Fyfe, Mundy and Hill with Barlow and Crowley was one hell of a contested midfield.
We probably go deeper now and will as Johnson comes on. I also think Simpson will add something special to the team when he gets a look.
Add to that our end of year first rounders and there is a lot to love.
We need to plan for a Sonny replacement asap. I am not sure if he can play much past this season.

Let the shaking begin right now!I was hoping we would be 2-3 and could make a run from there.

Forgetting someone ??
Pav was all Australian in all areas![]()
That's two births Docker related in one week. One was Cox's boy and the other was the onfield birth of a new star in Josh Draper. Ive has a chance to watch the replay on Kayo. He looked even better watching him again. If he can play well against Carlton then I think he'll be a must selection for the rest of the season as the coaches will be even more aware they have something special.Cox had a baby boy![]()

I reckon he's playing comfortably better this year than last. Leave him at HB.I reckon Aish should play the other wing. He's just a natural football player, fast enough, good overhead and breaks the lines.
We have so many other players that can play back.
Best ever for Fremantle was our Pav. shame we couldnt win him a premiership, only if Fyfe had kickedstraihgt in the grand final who knowsPav was under rated by all apart from Freo fans. So clean, skilled and powerful. He was a completely different player to Jackson though. Jackson playing Ruck, roaming and forward is quite unique. We haven't seen someone with his mix before. Jackson will retire and both will be considered all time greats!
