Meh, turns out losses to top 4 rivals really hurt. They call them 8 pointers for a reason.16-6 2016

Missed top 4 with all of them. Unluckiest team of all time
We aren't bad we are just are just inconsistent and complacent.Don’t be! It’s all West Coast’s fault ok. We are never unlucky. Just accept we are bad bad bad!
Comes down to where the games are located. If played either Richmond or Port at GABBA may have had a chance with wider groundMeh, turns out losses to top 4 rivals really hurt. They call them 8 pointers for a reason.
******* Geelong, sh*t the bed against Richmond and then compound it by arseing two wins.
Not bad. Very good.
There has just been 4 other teams that have deserved top 4 more than us the last 2 years.

Weirdly I think with home finals past the first week out of the equation, assuming we win the first week, we could be better off finishing 5th. Extra week in Perth, give Gov another week to recover, etc. In any other season no way in hell. but this season? Maybe.

As stated before we don't play each game like its an elim final. How many time in the last 2 season have we just not turned up to very winnable games. Not sure how we are complacent. We have lost 5 games. Three to teams above us. The other by 2 points. The GC loss was bad yes. But look at the teams above us. All of them have got away with some lucky scrapes here and there this season.
Its just frustrating that we are so quick to write off our club and don’t accept that maybe some luck has gone against us.

Has all the signs of facing off against Geelong in a do or die Semi Final second year straight.
