Disaster - because it makes an already totally unfair system even more unfair. Additionally, we don't have any junk points picks so are probably the only club that can't benefit in trade from it (either by trading in or out to suit needs).

Early Xmas because teams may choose now to swap a 20-40 pick for 3/4/5 picks in the 40's or 50's so our pick 62 (or whatever it is) will come forward substantially (as now the likelihood is many multiples more of points picks will be consumed than they otherwise would have been).

The AFL never ceases to amaze me when continuing to display how amateurish a competition they run. May end up well for us in one way, but would rather they kept the system as is, that already had its own flaws anyway.

RUNVS I wouldn’t totally dismiss what he says but he would have a hit rate of about one in 20 of what he suggests and what actually comes to fruition.
Been a longstanding Jurno in Perth and his credibility has dwindling over the last 15 years, although he did get some small semblance of credibility back in media land, with breaking the Mitchell to West Coast story in Perth.

I will give you a bit of an analogy if his information was on stock exchange tips, by the time he started spruking up a stocks value it would have already peaked and be on the way down.

He now dabbles around with the “shock jock” stuff, with the biggest plonker / shit stirrer of them all Brady Hardy.

Now if a Perth journo by the name of Ryan Daniels raising the Cox / transition plan then take note as he is the most AFL creditable journo in the City.

Cox wouldn't be a bad option long term if they want to go down that route as a head coach.

He was decent at WC as an assistant but felt he was too soon out of the game and still really close friends with the bulk of the squad so a move interstate was perfect for him.
